It began in March 2010. That's what the experts claim anyway and no one has been able to prove them wrong. That was when the powers first started to appear. That's when everything changed. As time went on the rumors became fact and everyone knew one undeniable fact: Superpowers are real. Mutants are real. It's been over a year since this discovery was made and the world is still adjusting. Some consider the powers to be a blessing. Others see them as a curse. All must learn to live with them though and to live in this changing world where new challenges are arising. Those with powers must ask themselves, will they be the heroes of the future? The villains? Or will they just try to live their lives in this new world? As for those without powers, they are left to face their own challenges. How has this changed their lives? Will they accept the newly evolved? Rejected them as freaks? Or just try to keep living their lives like always? As the new millennium dawns, Wizarding England is a bleak place. A failing economy and skyrocketing unemployment has most of the citizens living hand-to-mouth, strict laws seperate the muggleborns from the rest of society, and harsh punishments are visited on anyone who steps out of line. Violence and riots spring up, only to be met with force from the Ministry. The Ministry keeps its people under control by fostering a fear of muggles, leading the population to believe that muggles are one step away from discovering them, and that they would all be rounded up and killed if that happened. Unknown to most of the country, Voldemort and his Knights of Walpurgis run the government, ordering everything to suit their own ends. Though the population believes Voldemort to be dead (twice), he dictates everything, patient in his immortality and confident that his hiding is only temporary. At every turn, the Order tries to thwart them, but the Knights rarely use brute force anymore. The subtle weapons of propaganda and policy prove to be a deadly force, but the Order isn't beaten yet. They know Voldemort's weakness: the horcruxes. But they have to work fast. Because Voldemort has a new plan... |
CAST | PLAYER DIRECTORY | FRIENDING BUTTON It's 2050, by now the wizarding world has gone through mass changes since the Second War ended. Deaths, births, the rise of a new generation, changes for a better world. The only thing that the wizarding world struggled with was a small uprising started by the children of former Death Eaters. Thankfully, it only took one year to quash it, and luckily only a small number of causalities came from it. In the end the nine members of the uprising were caught, and sentenced for their crimes against the wizarding world. Since then everything started to progress again and over time the wizarding world became slightly more dependent on the muggle world, and with that came change and adaptation. One of these changed came when former Minister Shaklebolt decided that the key to a peaceful future was knowledge. With knowledge came acceptance and progress to maintain a better world. In 2030 Eolas University came the first Wizarding University. Modeled after muggle universities across Britain and Ireland the goal was to educate young witches and wizards preparing them for their career of choices. Everything from Geffory Buttermere College of Medicine, the MacTavish College of Law Enforcement, Goodfellow College of Magical Law, to degrees offered in Magical Zoology, Muggle Studies, a wide array of degrees available for every kind of field in the wizarding world. It is up to this new generation to decide what to do with the knowledge, if they'll use it to follow their dreams, to help wizarding kind, or for their own personal benefit. Their grandparents made a mark on the world, now it's their turn. |
