Blame the goblins. After Harry Potter drove a dragon through their bank, they seized the opportunity to rebuild the demolished sections of Gringotts in glass, stainless steel and intricate lockwork. Modernisation infected the rebuilding of Diagon into a new shopping, working and living district for New Wizarding London.

It was only a matter of time until gentrification hit Knockturn Alley. For a while it was edgy, and then it was hip, and by 2030, it's the most coveted address in London...
