After stuffed her backpack and finally leaving the station Gwen found herself back at the flats, but this time she easily found the one where Jack and Ianto landed. She steaded her raw nerves as she knocked on the door. When Jack or Ianto opened the door they would see a Gwen that was both emotionally raw and physically drained. The fact she had been sleeping at the station had done a nasty number on already raw nerves was only part of the problem: since she was grabbed from right after the Dalek invasion she was still reeling from that period along with losing Tosh and Owen.

After seeing Jack's entry along with Ianto's comments Gwen was thrown into action. "Getting my clothes is on hold, I need to see them" as she grabbed her jacket and scribbled a note for the Doctor as she left the TARDIS. As she walked she kept her eyes open for little things like Jack's coat and Ianto's suits (along with the heavy accent she and Ianto share due to being from Wales).

But only her friends would understand why she has bloodshot eyes: the nightmares triggered by the Joker, the bombing and finding out about Crane had also brought back memories of the night Tosh and Owen died. "Where are you two?" she mused under her breath, wishing she had gotten some coffee on the way.
