Getting out, made Elena feel much better, being out of the Suite changed her mood entirely. There was something about Christmas, it didn’t matter what it was, or even where she was there was a mood that just changed people.

For those un-dead critters out there, maybe they enjoyed this time as well, boozy easy meals for vampires and everything else that was out there. Damon was out looking for ‘Chinese,’ when Elena chose to go shopping.

It was the most wonderful time of the year, even if she didn’t have many people she needed to buy anything for, she wanted to go out just as much for the sheer pleasure of it.
