Jack groaned as turned over, he stretched his right arm out to feel for the familiar form of his lover. His brow creased, his sleep fogged mind not quite catching up with the fact that there was no one next to him. Jack mumbled sleepily, his face buried in the pillow. "Ianto?" His voice muffled by the cushion. "Ianto?" Jack asked again, lifting his head slightly. It was then that the immortal noticed three things: One, he was in a rather comfy bed, which was nice considering he had curled up on top of his greatcoat next to his partner on the ground of the new Hub the night before. Two, there was no longer said partner next to him. And three, her was in a rather childishly decorated room. Jack sat up with a start, pushing himself up with his hands. "What the.... Ianto?" He called out, looking around. He looked down at himself, seeing that he was still in fact dressed in the same clothes he had gone to sleep in, his greatcoat spread out on the bed under him. As thankful he was for a bed, Jack was wary about his surroundings. He understood time jumps and the like, but they were also a real pain in the ass. He walked over and looked out the window that was near the bed, taking in his surroundings. Snow? It was bloody snowing, he was certainly not in Cardiff anymore. It very rarely snowed in September in Cardiff, rained sure, but snowed? Not really.
Jack ventured out of the room, noticing the three other doors and the homey layout of the flat he was in. "Gwen?" He called out. "Rhys? Ianto?" He figured none of his other teammates were there, but it was worth a try. He quickly walked over to one of the other door, opening it without much thought of who might be on the other side. When he found an empty, although lived in looking room, he moved on to the next door. He found a similar setting behind the second door, before moving to the last one. He threw the door open, actually sighing with a bit of relief when he saw the sleeping form of one Ianto Jones in the bed. Jack walked into the room, leaving the door open, before he leaned down over the sleeping man. "Ianto?" He said softly, placing a hand on the man's shoulder. "Ianto, wake up." He gave the other man a little shake, trying to coax the Welshman awake.
