Lupin had had a really hard day at the school. He had spent half the night looking up everything he could about the class he was to teach, World History, he knew everything about wizarding history, but just bits and pieces of Muggle History. He was tired, the full moon was coming up, and right now he just need a bloody drink. He wondered if the bar had firewhiskey? He could go for one of those right now. He highly doubted it though.

He pulled the door open to the pub, seating himself at the bar and setting his bag under the stool, keeping it close to his foot so he'd feel it if someone tried to steal it. All they'd find is books and his wand, the books would be fine, but the wand questionable. He watched the bar tender move back and forth until he stopped in front of Lupin

"What'll you have?"

"Um," Lupin scanned the bottles of liquor,beer,rum, and mixes. Stopping on the scotch, he pointed at it too tired to even utter the words. The bartender eyed him funnily then poured him a glass, setting it in front of him on a napkin. Lupin took a sip, shuddered, and the resorted to people watching. He scanned the faces of people, not knowing any of them. He gazed at a young man down the row of stools from him. Then took another drink, shuddering again "Ilk.." he licked his lips, really wishing for some firewhiskey or butterbeer.
