Eve in the lobby, Saturday afternoon OTA/MW

Eve had worked both of her jobs last night, leaving her no desire to get up early and unpack her new apartment. She'd stayed with a friend, called to verbally give permission for the moving guys to drop off her things, apologized to a very nice sounding Mr. Abrams for the inconvenience, then verified the delivery of her things. On her way here, she picked up a gift card for the theater to drop off to Mr. Abrams.

She thanked the man who held the door open for her, pushed her sunglasses up on top of her head and looked around. Man, Drew wasn't kidding when he said the wait was worth it. This place looked better than The Empress.

Ashlynn in the mail room, Saturday morning, OTA/MW

Ashlynn felt entirely lost as she opened the familiar mailbox she'd had the last time she lived here. Last night she'd looked over the directory and noticed all of her former friends were either misplaced or they weren't listed. Deacon was listed, with Charlie, and Joe was on a different floor, but no listing for Onyx and Cade or Sergei.

She didn't even know why she was checking the mail, other than to tell her mother she'd done it. There were a million other things she could do but nothing seemed appealing anymore. The door creaked so she looked up to see who was coming in but it didn't open. Turning back to close her box it was stuffed.

"Oh jeez that's odd... I wonder if Jerry's been using this box for his junk mail?" She mused to herself then chuckled at the thought. It had been empty just a few moments ago, had it not?

Mocha, Evening, Icene, OTA/MW

With a sigh Icene joined the queue at the Mocha counter yet again. That black coffee she'd been drinking, seemed to have somehow become hot chocolate, and six she was not! Muttering grumpily under her breath she waited impatiently for the line to get through being served. It was just one more problem to be dealt with, along with boxes that moved, switched contents, and generally messed themselves up as she was packing up her apartment. In fact, that was the reason she was here, since her coffee maker had gone somewhere and she couldn't find it!

"I swear, it was in the box with the green sticker, so how come it's not there now, and where did the breadmaker come from? I've never owned one of those...." She shook her head, not really paying much attention to anything other than her mental packing list, and lucky that when she did bump into someone, she didn't spill black coffee (hopefully) all over them!
