7:25 AM
Emma was enjoying the sunshine of the afternoon with Lily, and after some exhausting playtime they were now both flopped out in the middle of the lawns. Emma was laying on her stomach, a sketch pad in front of her, drawing a close up observation of Lily's paw and nose laying on a rope chew toy. At least, she was until Lily moved and Emma looked up, she smiled and waved, Lily wagged her tail and yipped happily.

Ang was coming home from work, somewhat cranky because today had been a bad day, and she was tired, slightly dizzy and desperately hungry and thirsty. She headed for the peace of the mailroom, and opened the first of two mailboxes. She was leaning on the counter for support, not just for show, and hoping like crazy she wouldn't throw up there and then.

Spencer was a little worried about Roxy, so he left work a little earlier, and with a basket of goodies for nibbling on. Right now though he was sitting in the Mocha wondering how to ask her why she'd seemed so withdrawn and quiet since before the weekend. His coffee steamed gently on the table, as he casually shredded paper napkins into a pile in front of him.

Icene was, for once, settled into one of the lobby chairs, she had a set of photographs in front of her, and was comparing them and their locations on a map of the City, there was something there, she just, couldn't put her finger on it. Occasional muttered imprecations on idiots who shoot people escaped from under her breath, but she smiled at people walking past when they caught her attention instead.
-----
Jane had been waiting for the end of her shift, she'd received a letter today and was almost terrified to open it. It was from the lawyers handling the splitting of the assets, and she really wasn't sure she wanted to open it in case there was a problem. So now she was sitting in the conservatory, staring at nothing, the envelope turning over and over in her hands, her mind filled with the bad things that could be in the envelope and trying to pluck up the courage to open it. Anyone approaching was likely to make her jump in spectacular fashion.
