Multipup around the Manor - Afternoon - Ang - Emma - Icene - Spencer

Emma was enjoying the sunshine of the afternoon with Lily, and after some exhausting playtime they were now both flopped out in the middle of the lawns. Emma was laying on her stomach, a sketch pad in front of her, drawing a close up observation of Lily's paw and nose laying on a rope chew toy. At least, she was until Lily moved and Emma looked up, she smiled and waved, Lily wagged her tail and yipped happily.

-----

Ang was coming home from work, somewhat cranky because today had been a bad day, and she was tired, slightly dizzy and desperately hungry and thirsty. She headed for the peace of the mailroom, and opened the first of two mailboxes. She was leaning on the counter for support, not just for show, and hoping like crazy she wouldn't throw up there and then.

-----

Spencer was a little worried about Roxy, so he left work a little earlier, and with a basket of goodies for nibbling on. Right now though he was sitting in the Mocha wondering how to ask her why she'd seemed so withdrawn and quiet since before the weekend. His coffee steamed gently on the table, as he casually shredded paper napkins into a pile in front of him.

-----

Icene was, for once, settled into one of the lobby chairs, she had a set of photographs in front of her, and was comparing them and their locations on a map of the City, there was something there, she just, couldn't put her finger on it. Occasional muttered imprecations on idiots who shoot people escaped from under her breath, but she smiled at people walking past when they caught her attention instead.

-----

Jane had been waiting for the end of her shift, she'd received a letter today and was almost terrified to open it. It was from the lawyers handling the splitting of the assets, and she really wasn't sure she wanted to open it in case there was a problem. So now she was sitting in the conservatory, staring at nothing, the envelope turning over and over in her hands, her mind filled with the bad things that could be in the envelope and trying to pluck up the courage to open it. Anyone approaching was likely to make her jump in spectacular fashion.

Mocha/Garden, Afternoon, Adam, Jazz, and OTA

Home for lunch, Adam was holed up at table, a mostly ignored cup of coffee and sandwich in front of him while he struggled with a notion that refused to drift quietly into the back of his mind.

Up in the queue was some pretty thing, at which he had happened a quick glance. And now he was regretting it. She was wearing some sort of backless number, which meant she obviously wasn't wearing a bra and once a piece of information like that got into your head....He shook his head experimentally, and fixed his eyes on his plate like a good boy.

~.~

Aware of what she was doing, but pretending not to be, Jazz casually paid for her coffee, slipped a pair of sunglass onto her face, and drifted out into the gardens.

Then, and only then, did she smirk. It was always nice to be reminded that you attractive.

Humming some soft tune she headed down the path, figuring a walk in the warm sunshine was most definitely called for.

Tuesday evening, Noah's apartment; Noah/Peri

Six months. She and Noah had been dating for six damn months. Peri was pretty proud of that, actually. Relationships generally didn't work for her. Oh, the splits were always amicable, but relationships in general didn't seem to work out. This one, though? This one was promising.

"So!" she called from where she was sprawled on Noah's couch. "What are we going to do for dinner? And no, don't say we're cooking -- you haven't gone grocery shopping in like two weeks, according to your cabinets."

For anyone who, like me, found IJ a bit clunky to use, we now have alternative layouts here.

They seem to work pretty well. Enjoy playing with them.

Madsen-Savage Apartment, Tuesday night, J, Matt and Max

[info]ceiltastic
[info]morningstar_mnr
J was tired. Exhausted was a more accurate term. Her arms were tired from the constant carrying, even though Max was just a little tiny thing - a constantly growing, loud, wiggly tiny thing. She was also spending her nights waking up every few hours to feed the dude, 'fresh from the teat' as Gilly referred to it. J, however, was a-okay with passing Max to Matt for burping and some of the changing however so she could get in as much sleep as possible before the next feeding/fussing.

She was going a little stir crazy without working as well. She'd tried doing some work from home but hadn't succeeded very much because she'd either taken a nap or played with or tended to Max instead. So by the time afternoon rolled around and Matt had returned from...actually she couldn't remember where he'd gone, J had no idea what to do for dinner (she definitely didn't want to make anything). Max was fed and had been changed recently, but had started getting fussy whenever J put him down, so she was currently sitting in his nursery in the rocking chair with him in her arms and rocking away to some quiet music. She was talking to him about how much he should love sleep while she tried to stop yawning, which was difficult since she was nearly rocking herself to sleep.
