Anyone for HP genderswap?
I recently applied for a Harry Potter genderswap game, but unfortunately it looks like the mods that were planning on running the game have disappeared. Which is sad, because I wanted to play...so I was wondering if anyone out there would be interested in co-modding to put together a similar game? Trio-era post-warts AU, with the return of Voldemort postponed so it takes place during the game... or some other sort of plotty AU, I'm not picky, but I would want there to be significant plot.
Anyway, what keeps popping into my mind when I think about the concept is the Galadriel quote from Lord of the Rings: "In the place of a Dark Lord you would have a Queen! Not dark but beautiful and terrible as the Morn! Treacherous as the Seas! Stronger than the foundations of the Earth! All shall love me and despair!"
I think that using that sort of concept for a Lady Voldemort (or perhaps Lady Vorldemmort, if her name was originally Tammy instead of Tom), especially the idea of "all shall love me" could be a really interesting AU. Tammy would have the same goals as Tom, but she might go about them in a different way...
