[A little rain wasn't anything to be worried about. When the water showed no signs of stopping though, Mal started to worry. It didn't take long before he sloshed his way through the water to one of the shops and found a decent enough looking raft. It'd hold two comfortable enough.

He made his way back to the apartments and banged on Inara's door.]

Inara? Please tell me yer in there!

[Inara hadn't worried about the rain, not at first. It wasn't until water had started to come in from under her door. And even then it didn't stop. The water kept rising.

She was really trying not to panic but it was hard to do, not when she had looked outside and saw that the water out there was rising and rising.

Hearing the banging on her door, her head snaps to the side and she's quick to wade her way through the water to her door.]

I'm here! Mal, I'm here!

[She manages to pull the door open and let's out a breath of relief seeing Mal. It suddenly didn't even matter than they'd been fighting. All the mattered was the fact that he was there.]

I don't understand, is the dome leaking?

	[Mal breathes a small, relieved sigh when her door opens. He reaches out to her, intending to help her through the water to him and then to a window that they can get out of.] No idea. 	[She winces a little because ugh, her apartment. But everything's pretty much ruined anyway so why worry about a window? She swallows, settling in the raft and looks at him surprised.] Really?
