It's a lot of dome to fill, but... [ He falls silent for a moment, letting the calculations do their work. ] ...with the rate the water is filling up, I'd say we have a couple of hours before it reaches us. Unless it stops, of course.

Yeah, I can swim, but treading water for the rest of the day and all night at least sounds like a lot. We can't all grow gills and fins when we need them like M'gann.

How many do you think can stay on the same thing safely? [She looks at the few things they were able to retrieve from below in sporting goods sections so far. A couple of collapsible kayaks, three inflatable rafts, and a small pile of life jackets and floaties. Not enough for maybe seventy.]

Maybe both... smaller ones would be easier to start with, especially if we can construct some way to tie them together. Many little floatation modules that create a bigger system. Easy to build on, easy to cut loose if something happens.
