[ Reassurance like that is what got him through some pretty scary situations back home. It's no guarantee but it makes it easier to keep a clear head. He holds her hand tightly, trying to be a rock in these murky waters as they make their way to HQ. ]

Kitty's been sendin' people up to the floatin' island. Not sure how dry it is but at least we don't have to swim.

I don't mind keeping it on the down low if that works too... [But well, wow. It's just nice to hold hands?]

We can see when we get there - we might not even have time to make eyes at one another. Though I can't really imagine what there'll be up there to do for the rest of however long we're suck in a literal fishbowl but. [Sighing, ah.] I... I'm not against staying close though.

What if it's super cramped up there. [The closer they get to the rock itself the weirder it feels. It's pretty high up - someone better have slapped up some rails. Getting ready to go up feels a lot more like the climb on a roller coaster now. God, is it gonna be weird too? Getting up there.]

[Do you know how irritating it is to get up there, not be followed and then not get back down? The focus was getting people up, not ferrying them back down and to waste someone's time by needing three rides back and forth wasn't something she wanted to do. There was of course some last minute help she was pulled into as well, all the while waiting for Aidan to be... 'right behind her'. But he wasn't, and distractions didn't help, anxiety on her shoulders until he finally surfaced, so to speak.

She spins around, steps away from what she's doing to move over to him.] Aidan! What happened?
