[As soon as it became apparent that the rain wasn't stopping the water was going to keep rising, Varrick got right to work on building a raft for himself. It was unfortunate he had to use supplies scrapped from his apartment and those next door, dragging them up onto the roof where there was room and time, but he made do.. He was soaked through when it was finished, but when the water spilled onto the roof, he sat back and drifted away.

This is where Varrick can be found, floating about on the Zhu li II.]

[There are still enough roofs exposed for Aigis to leap lightly from one to the next, launching herself much farther than should be humanly possible. She balances lightly on the top of a lamppost still peeking above the water, powers up and jumps to the next roof. Which turns out to be a boat. She wasn't expecting that and wobbles as she lands on the deck of the craft, trying to regain her composure.]

Ah! Um. Do you need any assistance? [Play it cool, robot girl.]

I also invent things. I built it myself. The construction is quite simple, when you get right down to it.

[Really, the couch and table were already assembled, he just bolted them in so they wouldn't go anywhere. The rest was was a flat deck with a simple tarp canopy erected over it.]
