200 — Anniversary Festival!

Happy Anniversary, Marina Nova!

The bots have been busy cleaning up the dome and setting up decorations for this momentous occasion, and by now there isn't a nook or cranny left un-pimped! Bright blue MarinaNova flags wave happily in the artificial breeze together with the colorful ribbons that have been wrapped around poles. The streets are illuminated by strings of lights and paper lanterns and each sector gate has been lovingly decorated with fragrant flower garlands.

Of course, that is far from all! There wouldn't be much of a festival without entertainment and your loving wardens have made absolutely sure that there's something for everyone!

Sector 0 Fairground: If you want to go faster, you have to scream louder! Sector 0 has been taken over by a fairground where you can find such old classics as the bumper cars, a haunted house of mirrors, a more romantic tunnel of love, a roller coaster, a classic merry-go-round and, of course, a ferris wheel.

Game Booths: Step right up! Test your skill and win a prize! Throughout the dome there's a variety of game booths, ranging from the classic ring toss and high striker to kissing booths and dunk tanks. There's also a duck pond game, balloon darts and goldfish scooping game — with mechanical goldfish, of course!

The prizes are all of the carnival variety, including but not limited to: stuffed animals, fake tattoos, cheap bracelets and necklaces, stickers, rubber reptiles, silly hats, wiggle snakes and sticky hands or other sticky things.

Performances: The other way to show your skill! There are two stages set up in the dome: the first one with sound equipment and instruments suitable for a musical performance — or perhaps just karaoke! If no one is using the stage, it will automatically play randomly selected music from a wide variety of genres. The second stage is set up to accommodate physical performances like gymnastics and when no one is performing you're treated to a projection of ball room dancers, gymnasts, modern dance, ballet and similar things!

There are also street performers scattered throughout the dome. You can watch robots juggle, eat fire, swallow swords or charm robot snakes! There's also face painting and the occasional robot dressed up as a human statue for your amusement.

Food: The food carts in sector 0 are now carrying food fit for the occasion. You can find classic carnival food like popcorn, cotton candy, corn dogs, funnel cakes and pizza slices, but also takoyaki, okonomiyaki, candied almonds, gyros, pirogues, egg rolls and of course snow cones and ice-cream cones. The theme has of course extended to the drink selection and you're welcome to quench your thirst with lemon shake ups, butterbeer, mead and malted milkshakes.

Enjoy!

One of the people in my sector said the same thing. Good information to have. Not the best way to find out though. [Her way of saying, sucks to be you, zombie-bro.]

[It is a minor inconvenience, but he's not particularly angry about it.]

It lets us know that crimes we may not be aware of are also being committed there. It is a dense location. Perhaps you should add more people onto your team to patrol it.

If there were people to add I might. As it is my sector is a full and robust one compared to some of the others. [Not to mention she'll be picky about who she lets in such a dangerous territory.]

True. [He won't deny that some of the other sectors are lacking in patrol.] Are you going to attempt to recruit more candidates or wait for them to approach you?

If I had many I thought should join that haven't I'd be recruiting. Mostly I'm waiting to see who wants in. I know some of the others suggest it to new arrivals too.

Not an unwise choice of action. But it leaves us to consider what else inmates might be doing in Sector 6 that we are currently unaware of due to the wardens being incapable of fully monitoring the area.

[Food for thought.]

Yeah, just imagine the littering potential. [No, she gets you.]

We should install wastebins less someone be punished for killing through negligent pollution.

Are you making a joke? [She's so proud! She didn't know he could do that. So clearly, it must be teased.]

Am I? I'm certain there is a rule book I am required to consult before engaging in witty retorts. [He used to fake his brother out during tag with clones, Itachi does have a sense of humor.] Or perhaps you're a rather poor influence.

I think I've heard that bad influence thing before. At least you picked up the humor and not the smoking.

Anything but diminished lung capacity. I'd likely kill myself while trying to breathe fire. Not very becoming of a shinobi.

Definitely not. Much better to go out wrestling a pack of bears or something.

Summoned animals can be rather vicious, indeed, but I've yet to encounter a bear. It would be quite the experience.

I am unsure, considering how "predictable" I am. [Now moving on.] Have you tried riding the machine called the rollercoaster?

Sure. At home a lot. Well, not a lot, but whenever that was an opportunity when I was a kid. And a little while ago with Laura. Did you want to ride it?
