 1979 is winding toward its own close. Conflicts between the Order of the Phoenix and the Death Eaters continue as Dark Lord continues pressing for dominion of the Wizarding world, and the Ministry will not stand for it. With the rise of a new administration five years ago, Britain has seen the situation grow more and more tense as all three sides raise the stakes one after another.

 In 2010, the Misuse of Muggle Artifacts Office of the Ministry of Magic finally granted permission for the next wave of muggle electronics -- the television -- to be studied and modified with magic. Ten years later, there was a telly in the home of every witch and wizard with programming ranging from goblin talk shows to galleon game shows to dramas, comedies, music videos, and even movies. More recently, 2021 saw the advent of reality shows, like The Fashion Show and Love Potion No. 9. Get Real! was conceived by Maximus Trimble and Rhonda Roads as a way to appeal to the teenage demographic as well as pull in an older crowd on the strength of nostalgia. It's a reality TV show all about the life of the "average" Hogwarts student and the drama, laughs, and loves that blossom between them. Season 1 begins filming this school year. By proxy of returning to school this year all students and parents have given their permission to be featured and/or mentioned on the programme. And if certain liberties happen to be taken with the presentation of the footage, well... that's just show business. MAKE A HOLD TODAY! |

Across this new divide The war is over and the magical community of Great Britain is still rebuilding. On the surface, things seem peaceful and full of promise. In shadowed alley ways and behind closed doors, however, darkness still broods. The Death Eaters are no more - most of the members imprisoned or dead - but an old organization is reshaping quietly with the intent of continuing the fight against contamination of magical blood. Within the Ministry, there are those that would expose the wizarding world to muggles, in hopes that they will find acceptance and equality. Troubling and dangerous days lie ahead. When Headmistress Aurelia Dumbledore agreed to meet with Sylvester Trelawney the prophecy that he gave the Headmistress was not of the Longbottom or Potter child, it was of Lady Voldemort’s Horcruxes. She sent S. Black, L. Potter, J. Potter and R. Lupin out to collect them and bring them to her so they could be destroyed. In the months the Marauders were Horcux hunting, the rest of the Order was fighting against the Death Eaters. There were countless losses on both sides and Headmistress Dumbledore started to rethink her decision but once the Marauder’s returned with what they thought were all of the Horcruxes, Dumbledore destroyed them. They did not, however, know of the snake. | |

| Twenty-five years after the fateful Tournament, the political atmosphere in Britain and Europe had changed drastically. The threat of the Dark wizard known as Lord Voldemort had disappeared, and in the years following the triumph, governments arose that were much more focused on cooperation and tolerance among wizards and witches at home and internationally. In 2019, a contingent of people led by Second Wizarding War hero Harry Potter and Bulgarian Quidditch superstar Viktor Krum formed, eager to encourage the next generation to focus on others' similarities rather than their differences. Both leaders spoke eloquently of the lasting friendships they had made and the valuable lessons they had learned during the 1994 Triwizard Tournament. They advocated a replacement event for the student population. With the assistance of the International Association of Quidditch, three years later, the inaugural Junior International Quidditch Tournament is set to begin. Four Quidditch teams representing their schools will compete against each other in a series of matches throughout the academic year, with two finals at the end of the year to determine the overall winner. And alongside all the Quidditch fever that is sure to grip the castle, the typical difficulties of an academic year at Hogwarts must still be traversed: exams, friendships, romance, and antics.
