August of 1997, Lord Voldemort, the Dark Lord, having never been defeated by the child from Sibyll Trelawney’s prophecy, now is in complete control of the Wizarding United Kingdom. His Minister for Magic in England, Augustus Rookwood, controls everything under his supervision, including, the marking and documentation of every pureblood male child born after the prophecy made in 1980.

The pureblood’s thought that Voldemort was going to be their savior, their king, but in the end, his true colors began to show, and his power hungry inner circle took control from those on the outside. A select few families are able to control the majority of the wealth while those on the outside, though living comfortably, have only their blood status to save them from total abandonment in society.

Halfbloods and Muggle-borns are the lowest in society. Some are not even allowed to grace the halls of Hogwarts. But the Order, once thought to be abolished, is on the move, and though Albus Dumbledore was executed in 1984 when Voldemort took over Hogwarts, their leader, James Potter, will stop at nothing to see that balance is finally restored and the world is put back the way it should have been.

They called the generation following the Second World War: The Baby Boomers. They were supposed to make the world a better place, and free from tyranny. However, like most things in this world no matter how hard you try, bad things happen. The Second War came and went, destroying just about everything in its path. Heroes rose, villains fell, sacrifices were made in the name of justice. Following the fall of the Dark Lord, and the Second War it was only natural that the trend from the past continue. Those who had survived carried on, to pass the torch down to their children, a new generation that seemed to spring out of the ashes.

This new generation, the Boomer Generation as they're now being called, was raised with the hope that they'd be able to create a new world, a better one, one that wouldn't fail into the habits of their parents generation. However, this can be said for both sides. For the children of the defeated have been growing with their own ideas to correct their sides own flaws, becoming more powerful everyday and the time is growing closer to unleashing their plan on the world...

The year is 2023 and Hogwarts’ first year under the reign of its new, tyrannical Headmaster, Tiberius Odgen, has come and gone. Students are free to enjoy their hard-earned summer beyond the reach of their stern faculty and archaic standards of conduct, no longer victims of dictations regarding everything from the volume of their laughter to the proximity they must maintain from the lakeshore (and members of the opposite sex!). The older students leaving their seventh years behind them enjoy this time with a sense of nostalgia and excitement as they prepare to enter the next phase of adulthood; some seeking employment and others leaning toward the option of tertiary education. Yes, slowly but surely, the Wizarding World has come to mirror its Muggle counterpart by founding Wizarding Universities, with Britain’s two establishments located in Scotland and England promising to turn determined academics into the kings and queens of tomorrow.

But summer will only last so long. For all the younger kids, from fifth year to seventh, it’s only a matter of time before Hogwarts’ classrooms are filled with new sets of teenagers bombarded with rules and regulations, and a cross, ex-Hit Wizard Headmaster, who does not tolerate any kind of folly.
