Anthony was finding it difficult to have a Happy Birthday, when the climate within the castle walls felt as numb and as blistery as the weather outside of it. Yet here he was, eighteen years old ...... because time waits for no man.
In an attempt to lift his spirits, Anthony helped himself to a serving of pancakes, just before the morning owls swooped in. One familiar owl dropped a box on in front of his plate, while a few cards followed. Anthony smiled, opening the correspondance from both of his sisters and his parents. It was a relief to hear from Sarah, even though it lacked a return address and her nearly laughed at the joke inside of Rachel's. It was hard not to miss home at a time like this.
