In the Greenhouse [open to all]

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
Elaine had been wondering for a while about the glass building out here, and her curiosity had finally gotten her to go outside and explore it. When she pushed open the door tentatively, she was shocked at the warmth in the house--like a warm spring or summer's day. She took off her cloak, draping it over her arm, and looked around.

It didn't take her very long at all to work out what the building was for.

So now, she's happily planning and planting about 8 feet of gardening space. She looks happier than anyone has ever seen her, and she's humming randomly to herself as she digs and plants her seeds.

In the Tea Room [open to all]

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
Once again, Elaine is in the tearoom. She has her embroidery this time, a decoration of lilies on white linen fabric. She has been well, mostly. Her nightmares have somewhat abated and her sleeping schedule has gone back to normal.

She's been spending a goodly amount of time with Sparhawk, which she greatly enjoys. It is good to be with someone where one does not necessarily have to fill the time together with talk. Indeed, there are times when they must part that she wishes they did not have to. But Elaine must sleep sometime. She is not used to being awake long after dark.

It is good to lose herself in the simplicity of embroidery every so often. It gives her time to ponder things.

In the tearoom...[open]

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
Elaine sits in the tearoom, sipping tea carefully. She does not look injured any longer, which is due entirely to Sparhawk's magic and care. There is a book on the table in front of her, but she has not gone back to the Library. She is too scared to go back quite yet.

She's still a little shaken up; she has bad dreams sometimes. Sparhawk has kept careful eye on her, though, and she is grateful not to have to be alone.

In fact, this is one of the first times she has really been alone since the explosion, and she's a trifle nervous. The book is open in front of her, but she might not be able to attend it as well has she might otherwise do.

So she sips her tea and looks out the window at the snow covered ground. It's been a long winter.

Elaine wakes up...[Sparhawk]

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
There was a memory of pain and cold, but she was warm as she woke up and opened weary eyes. She ached, but nothing like the mind-dulling pain when...whatever happened, happened.

She kept her eyes closed as she tried to piece things together. An explosion, Sparhawk had called it. Elaine didn't understand that word, though she knew the Latin, and she supposed it fit. There had been such a loud noise right before the world turned upside down.

But Sparhawk had come, Sparhawk had saved her and was keeping her safe. She opened her eyes.

"Sir?" she asked softly. The room was dimmed slightly and she couldn't see very much.

Who? Sparhawk and Elaine(closed)
What? A Rescue!
When? Right after the explosion and this!
Rating? Evil Explosion
Where? In the wreckage

Sparhawk was outside the when the explosion happened, and he ran instinctively toward the Residence. He knew, somehow, that Elaine would be in the thick of it, helping, even if she was not hurt. It was her nature, kind and helpful, and he smiled even as he braced himself for the worst possible news. Spells came to his mind, as he ran into the main hall and saw the wreckage.

Looking everywhere around him, he knew that finding Elaine without help would be impossible, so he settled down to cast a spell that allowed him to reach out, his mind calm and his heart beating fast, seeking Elaine's mind...

Time for a fall

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
Hop, hop, hop.

The Bunny eyes the empty lobby again, just to make sure it is still empty. If anyone sees him doing this, he's in big trouble. But sometimes, well, all the time really, he just has to follow his programming.

Which is telling him, someone has to pay.

So it is that he's carrying a small object, just about the size of an easter egg. Actually, it's painted to look like one too. But with some advanced knowledge, and future technology, the Bunny has created something quite powerful.

"Happy Birthday, buddy." With a quick two hops, he slams the egg into the delivery shoot and hits the button with both feet. After a smooth landing, his beady red eyes stare upwards, waiting for a rush of fire down the tube to tell him he's the new Manager of this place.

BOOM!

As pieces of the residence begin to fall down around his head, he can say but one thing.

"Oops."

((OOC:This is it boys and girls, the big badda boom! Enjoy yourselves.))
