So instead of flooding the main community with a bajillion owls/presents posts, we thought it would be better to have one singular post with all the presents. Just follow this format, making sure to including character's name, recipient's name, gift (links are absolutely NOT required!), and when it is delivered.

As promised, Geoffrey played Wand Direction songs for Lavender. Two of them. While he would have known the tunes (THANKS TO HIS SISTER), he needed to borrow the liner notes from Lavender for the lyrics. He looked a little physically pained just considering it (and gave his guitar a reassuring "there there, it will soon be over" pat beforehand), but played and sang gamely enough.

And since misery loves company, he approached Andy about dressing up as one of the group members, but whether or not that actually happened is Clare's call. ;)

So directly after this entry and Opal's unsuccessful attempts to be his friend, Geoffrey flung his journal on his bed and stomped downstairs with his guitar. He played and sang a few tunes, got himself in a somewhat better mood, and tolerated sing-alongs and took requests (his singing sounds like this). He knows a variety of magical and Muggle songs. He started out with this version of "Ziggy Stardust" (take that, Draco Malfoy).

Comment if your character wanted anything! Or joined in. Or... tried to take away his guitar. Etc.

WHAT: Brian's "birthday party" aka lunch aka let's eat food and cake.
WHEN: October 5, 1997 around 11am to 2pm? Idk, whenever.

Tilly invited a bunch of people here but if your character is also a friend of Brian's, please pretend like she invited them, as well. :>

Anyway, she brought out some food with a few people (any takers?) and sort of set up a ~picnic area~ so that they can have just chilled there. And she totally stole some butterbeer from Thursday for this event, so there were plenty of bottles of that, as well. Brian was supposed to come in later with Ursula Flint, so she was hoping that he wasn't going to be a grouch about it on his BIRTHDAY. Tilly would have attempted to keep the mood light and avoided talking about politics, because UGH BORING. She would have encouraged people to play any games or whatever they wanted, and would have sang with some people if they wanted to!!

So whatever, have fun hurr~

It's time for detention! It's in the Dark Arts classroom... and Amycus and Alecto are pretty excited about it. They start off opening up this large pink box with a pink ribbon and a note on a frilly piece of white paper. The Carrows each read the note silently and chuckle amongst themselves. There are three cases. They open the first case and bring out a very familiar object.

Quills!

Oh no, are these blood quills from Umbridge? The three unruly students are instructed to write lines such as "Magic is Might" and "Cooperation is Key" and yes, on the back of their hands is that familiar horrible pain as their blood becomes the ink on the page. They are instructed to write the phrase 100 times.

Alecto leaves for personal reasons and Amycus oversees the detention.

At the end of the time spent, the back of their hand will inevitably be swollen and red and it's likely they will have lost a good deal of blood. In terms of scarring, there's a trace of it just visible to the naked eye, but nothing long-lasting yet.
