SO! At dinner tonight (because he took Susan's comment as a Challenge) Terry transfigured the teapot sitting on his end of the Ravenclaw table into a trombone (the spout was the mouthpiece and the handle became the slide), and then moved over to the Hufflepuff table, yelling HEY SUSAN BONES!

He then proceeded to climb onto the table (avoiding stepping on any food, because sacrilege) and basically enacted this scene (just the singing part of course), except instead he sang as much of the extended version of It's All Coming Back To Me Now by Celine Dion as he could get away with. He only ended up playing a few notes with the tuba, though, because 1. He doesn't know how to play the tuba 2. It was more for show than anything.

It's time for detention! It's in the Dark Arts classroom... and Amycus and Alecto are pretty excited about it. They start off opening up this large pink box with a pink ribbon and a note on a frilly piece of white paper. The Carrows each read the note silently and chuckle amongst themselves. There are three cases. They open the first case and bring out a very familiar object.

Quills!

Oh no, are these blood quills from Umbridge? The three unruly students are instructed to write lines such as "Magic is Might" and "Cooperation is Key" and yes, on the back of their hands is that familiar horrible pain as their blood becomes the ink on the page. They are instructed to write the phrase 100 times.

Alecto leaves for personal reasons and Amycus oversees the detention.

At the end of the time spent, the back of their hand will inevitably be swollen and red and it's likely they will have lost a good deal of blood. In terms of scarring, there's a trace of it just visible to the naked eye, but nothing long-lasting yet.

Dingy Lobbing | Similar to oppugno, Dingy Lobbing [malum vomito], is a spell that allows you to cast items of varying destruction into the body of your opponent or other objects (incl. walls, doors, etc.).

Students will begin with simple paper airplanes for the first fifteen minutes of practical application--directed at their bears. The students will be challenged to progress to quills, beads, and tacks. Whoever can get a tack to stick into the bear will be awarded 5 house points.

Note! Students are expected to bring their BOOKS during Tuesday's theory/history lesson and their BUDDIES on practical sessions unless otherwise noted.
