Happy Fandom Anniversary to all of our friends who joined us in March! March has been a good month for the Queer as Folk fandom!

Our first celebrant, opal11, joined in 2004, making her 6 in QAF Years! _alicesprings's birthday was March 27th 2005. testdog65 joined our little family on March 31st, 2006.

March 2008 brought us 3 March babies. selenebj joined on March 9th, followed by maybe742 on the 17th. And the very next day, the 18th, outlander became our youngest March baby!

Let's all wish them each a Happy Anniversary!



Today is a good day to celebrate our family, as we just got word that our dear Miss besamislabios and family are OKAY!

And remember to swing by the Third Annual Friending Party to say congratulations to our March celebrants and to welcome those who are just joining us here! All you have to do is comment and friend away!

Over 1000 comments in the first 48 hours of the Friending Party! We are completely blown away! And it isn't over yet... can we make it to 2000? :D

We are also doing the Asylum Insanity Trivia Game which is a great way to get to know many of the fandom asylums.

This fandom is always full of exciting events. Just recently there was the Public Sex Challenge at bj_action and on March 6th we will be flooded with new fic from the Small Things Made Large Challenge at qaf_challenges! Plus you should join _love_qaf_fic right away because authors are working to archive their fic there and you might catch something you missed before. And if you're an author post away!

Welcome to the Second Annual QaF Friending Party!

Last year the party was hosted here by happier_bunny. The party was such a huge success the first time around that we asked happier_bunny if we could host another.

Many of us started out our fandom careers by lurking. outlander, selenebj, ceee, nyxa, and maybe742 are just some of our new friends who made the jump and delurked at last year's party! We haven't been able to shut outlander up since. ;) So whether you're brand new or you've been sneaking around for months or even years we hope you'll come out to play!

How does a Friending Party work? Long time fans and new fans alike, just comment here to let everyone one know that you are willing to be friended and share a little something about yourself while your at it. :) If you are feeling really shy you can friend everyone without commenting, but I swear we don't bite! Also feel free to welcome others to the party and get to know each other! qafmaniac even made some lovely icons as welcome gifts.
