Question of Lust One of my favorite songs ever. I’ve always known this was the perfect song for Brian and Justin and this video is exactly why. Every scene, every beat of music is perfection.

Hallelujah This video haunts me, literally. Every time I watch it, I hear the song in my head for days. I have chills from watching it just now.

By fandom standards, I don’t have a lot of icons, and I love each and every one I do have. Some of my absolute favorites are icons by brianslave68. I’m putting these behind a cut for length and what some might consider an excessive number of 308 icons.

Some of the things that make me all swoony are the lovely sidebar animations in my journal, made by some of the incredibly talented artists here on IJ. I find myself simply mesmerized by them sometimes. There is just nothing quite like Brian and Justin kissing or snuggling on continuous loop!!

When she started this tag game last week, happier_bunny said, Fandom is full of so many goodies...from icons to fics to vids to graphics to meta to silly fun to challenges to drabbles to just plain LOL funny stuff. We have a very rich history ...

We really do! Beyond all the gorgeous fics and art, the thing I love most about this fandom is the laughter. Here are a few of my favorite funny memories:

1. url_girl’s icons. Here are two that made me snort in a most unladylike way:

2. Some of the highbrow Coffee Club discussions – especially on days when firehead30 was feeling procrastinaty. A couple of examples: Brian, is he really all that hot and a bag of chips? and its companion piece, Justin Taylor, gentleman and scholar, or sexy little slut?

3. outlander’s porny pumpkin for the Pumpkin Carving Contest. (I can't find it right now, but you know the one. Heh heh. And here I thought that was a belly button!)

4. dottie_jane's symposium on Justin's “granny panties” -- soon followed by qafmaniac's hilarious video tribute to them.

This just scratches the surface. There's so much friendship and laughter - and talent - archived here. Thanks, Bunny, for finding a way to air some of it out! ♥

Under the cut, my icon tribute to my personal favorite season of Queer as Folk. Mine may not be yours and every season is fantastical, but this is the one that draws me back again and again. The one that had me on the edge of my chair the first time I watched, transfixed by the reunification and then by Stockwell and ALL the many storylines that entailed. My icons are typically me, Brian and Justin, mostly Brian...but every single character has an important part in S3 and a special place in my heart.

I saw that the lovely qafmaniac posted about this lovely icon *points* and it inspired my idea for this post. I think one of the best parts of our fandom (ok, its all "best" but the part that I am going to mention) is teh pr0n. There is so much lovely delicious amazing porn in our fandom, and nearly all of it is more or less fitting with canon characters. This is something that I think makes the QAF fandom special.
