Betas

We love betas. We love them so much that we made this rule: Betas must be used for all fics including drabbles.

If English is not your native language, please use a beta for whom it is.

Fics will not be rejected for a typo or two, but if they have obviously not been proofread we'll have to send it/them back.

There is a list of people who have volunteered to beta for authors here on InsaneJournal and here on LiveJournal.

Timeline:
Author's Notes: Warnings, author's notes, thank your beta, and any other comments you want to include. This section is optional, but if your fic contains major or minor character death, Brian/other and Justin/other, violence, etc you must warn for it. You must also include a WIP note if your fic is incomplete.

You MUST include all html coding needed on your fic. This includes bold on the header, your username coding, italics etc.

Exlusions

  • This community is open to works about and including all canonical pairings, individual characters from canon, friendship/family/gang, or the ensemble. No Brian/Michael or other non-canonical pairings. Brian and Michael as friends is very welcome.

  • The break-up issue: This community/asylum is a labor of love by some fans who prefer not to read stories in which Brian and Justin are broken up. We respectfully ask the authors who submit fic to this challenge not to write stories in which they are not together at the end, unless it's about and set during one of the canonical breakups.

    That means no AU/what-if fics that start out with a canonical breakup but veer off from canon, unless they are reunited by the end of the story.

  • No Mpreg, no RPS/F, no poetry. No word count limit.

  • You must be at least 18 years old to enter the challenges.

  • Fiction written for this community is expected to be in character and reflect the canonical characterization of Brian, Justin, and all the characters.

  • Do not cross post your fan work, nor identify yourself publicly as its author, nor respond to comments left on your work, until "the reveal," which will be five days after the posting.

  • Fics are due by midnight on the due date, US Pacific time.
