Oookay, I really thought I woke up on the right side of the bed this morning but apparently I was mistaken.

I'm going to be going on a temporary leave of absence, there's a few things we need in Cardiff, and I need time to clear my head.

Happy Birthday, Mr. Jones. I do hope you enjoyed my present. Granted, it was a day late but you can't expect a busy man like me to keep up with all these little earth dates and there was so much to plan and so many things to buy!

I hope you all realise how relaxed your security is! Although if you haven't got the idea just yet then you might want to check on all your staff. Missing anyone? Maybe? You should all look into that.

Some of you might want to check your doorsteps, I've left some of you a little gift. I thought it was about time that some of the younger members of your little team got a little bit of a shock. After all, who needs all that wide eyed innocence? Not Torchwood!

Work has been a bit too quiet recently, but it's given me the chance to catch up on all my paperwork. I've also been getting home on time and I don't think that's happened since I started working there. It's bleeding insane.

Kids, please stop betting on when it's going to stop being quiet or we'll blame whoever got the date right and make you clean all the toilets for a month.

I'm putting my cards away for a while. The same three haunt my readings like a bad omen and I no longer wish to look upon them and think of the darkness that is coming.

Torchwood, when I tell you it's going to be a bad summer, don't ignore my warning. I am trying to protect you all.

Bloody hell, work was tough yesterday. I'd be happy if we don't have a day like that again for a long time. Especially as half the senior staff decided to bugger off to the pub without me afterwards. I don't mind that much, but they could have at least brought me a drink!

A holiday would be nice too, and while I'm at it I'd like a new pair of shoes and a new pair of jeans that fit properly. Yeah, I don't think I'm getting those either.

Planning the wedding is still driving me a bit nuts. I have absolutely no organisational skills and it's beginning to show. It's probably a good thing that everything is almost sorted.

Christ, I need to get drunk though. Owen and Ianto can work tonight. Tosh, do you want to maybe go and get a drink?

I don't like the summer. The heat makes people restless and impulsive, it makes them stupid. The long hot days and the long hot nights lead to sin and love and heartbreak.

The sun burns more than skin and summers always hurt before the winter freeze.

The cards hint at things lurking in the heat, plans that are slowly falling into place and pain. The cards always hint at pain. They have done ever since I got here.

I miss Cardiff.

I know, I know. It has been a while since I spoke to my dearly devoted public. You must all be so very disappointed not to hear from me. I can practically hear the wailing from here.

Now, now, things I should do.. ah, yes! I should probably keep up with the Joneses! Martha, dear sweet Miss. Martha Jones, how is the love life? Going well? How's the sister? I hope she hasn't been getting into any trouble, it would be terrible to see little Letitia hurt, wouldn't it?

Oh, Captain, my Captain! How is the little team? Everyone good, everyone healthy? How's little Ianto? I do hope his arm has healed nicely. It would be terrible if it left a mark, don't you think?

Hello everyone I'm Lisa Hallett and I'm new to the area. I really liked this apartment complex with it's community kind of feel. It's something I've been missing for awhile.

So here's a little about myself... I was born and raised in the London area and make my living in technology research. It's quite boring trust me... well I find it interesting but the majority of the rest of the world might not like to hear me babble on about alternative fuels and the like. I've located here from Norway so I'm glad to be hearing more English around than anything else but I do love the multi-cultural feel of the city.

Anyways if you have any tips of suggestions of what I should do and see to make living here a little easier I'd love to hear them.
