A revolution has recently taken place within society’s attitude towards certain laws and civil rights. This transformation has left many traditionalists scared and fighting but most have been liberated due to the changes and are keen to allow them to continue. Mainly the rights for women and children have altered drastically. The change to female rights is almost immediately noticeable with the change of fashion.
Medical and scientific understanding has improved and the experimentation for artificial limb use and ‘upgrades’ to the physical being are becoming highly fashionable however extremely costly.

Whittlewell is the capital city of the British Empire and is on the cutting edge of the steam revolution. Its advances in air ship travel and compact innovations for steam capability are the envy of the world and have lead to the boon in wealth. However the gap between rich and poor is ever expanding.

The year is 1865 and you are invited to come and join us.

Premise

Looking for a Harry Potter game that's nothing like the rest? How about one you can play original characters in? Don't want to worry about Brit-speak? Then join Salem Academy, the best school for witches and wizards in America! We're in the midst of a brand new school year, so now's your chance to get in on the action.

But what about the attack on the headmaster? Who was behind it, how did they get on campus, and what if it happens again? Wizards live right in the muggle community, under their very noses, a secret that has been kept for centuries. But it looks like that secret's about to come to light.

Wanted Characters

Tired of lack of diversity in games? Looking to play a minority? We welcome them with open arms! We're in dire need of students with parents or siblings who work for the Bureau. Wardwell and Proctor students, Osborn and Wardwell girls and roomates for existing characters. Siblings, cousins, plus-sized, or scene students are all wanted. Cheerleaders as well as Quodpot players need to fill the squads and teams. Got a favorite high school stereotype? Play them at Salem!

The year is 1978. The war against the Death Eaters has been boiling under the surface for almost a decade now. It was little things at first, easy to ignore, escalating to bigger attacks, bigger crimes, and of course, retaliation. Now the country is about ready to tear itself apart as the Ministry steps up their attempts to defeat Voldemort and no one is really sure who they should trust, if they should trust anyone at all. Who can you turn to when your own government is as likely to kill you as the masked criminals roaming the streets?

Even the muggles are starting to notice. Attacks in muggle places are becoming more frequent, the Death Eaters getting more bold. And everyone is asking the same question.

How long before it's open war?


The First War is a Post-Warts, MWPP era RPG. We are canon through November 1st, 1978 and then we diverge, allowing the characters to tell their own stories.

Located in an underground base called the Hub and under the command of Captain Jack Harkness, Torchwood Three has the task of monitoring the time rift and phenomena associated with it, as well as securing for Torchwood any artifacts that might come through. The Rift, situated in (and above) Cardiff, stretches about five miles from Cardiff Bay.

The Premise


Neville Longbottom heads Hogwarts.

December 21st, 2012 was a day that changed history. A solar flare destroyed satellites, bathed the planet in radiation, and created mutants. It has been almost a year since the incident, and Professor Xavier and Erik Lensherr have come together to open The Xavier Haven for Gifted Individuals offers a safe place for the newly discovered race of mutants. Wished RP is an AU game that diverges from canon midway through Half-Blood Prince and aims to honor canon while allowing players to craft their own end to the story we all spent years following. Wished is a thread and scene based, Trio-Era game that begins with the Trio's seventh year. Voldemort is still lurking, if weakened, and a final showdown still threatens - but how we get there, and what happens afterward, will look very different.

Wished is only recently opened, and is an active and friendly community with chances for plot and character development for all characters.

PREMISE

The action takes place in 2009 but in Caligland, the kingdom that lies between the realms of Heaven and Hell, Past and Present, Life and Underworld. it is the period known as The Dark Renaissance.

It is a dominion where the preternatural beings rule, vampires and werewolves are elevated to nobility and humans are nothing more than food, labour and entertainement. Of course, there are rebels that try to fight to win back the country from the unholy creatures of the night.

Four times a year, on each continent, a portal opens between our universe and that of Caligland, a unique occasion for magic and science to mix, causing explosive results. While some seek to enter the Kingdom with a deliberate purpose or a task to accomplish, others seem to end up here by pure accident.

With inspiration borrowed from ancient lore and mythology, a royal court based on the 16th century Tudor court, a vampire hierarchy and clans originating in the Vampire: the Masquerade roleplaying universe, a vast variety of supernatural fandoms to choose from and a well-elaborated plot, this game has something to offer to everyone! On October 31st, 1999, a group of eco-terrorists released a biological weapon at every major airport in the world. The first level of infection was direct inhalation within 100 yards. The infected become sick with flu-like symptoms. 48 hours later, the true nature of the weapon became clear. The infected became violent, infecting others through bites and scratches. 50 hours after the first contagion was released, governments across the globe initiated states of emergency. Sites were designated as shelters with troops and Aurors sent to protect those sites at all costs.

Radio broadcasts gave the locations of the Ministry of Magic and Buckingham Palace as 'safe spots' but they were really processing centers screening out the infected and sending the uninfected via the Floo network to hidden shelters. Those lucky enough to find shelter must now wait it out – the 28 long days for the infected to starve to death or kill each other in their madness. Then they will have the unenviable task of rebuilding society and the world.

Plus 28 Days is a Post DH HP-based Panfandom RPG that began on October 31st, 2009.

“ . . . All that was left in Pandora’s box was hope.”

During the 21st century, a global pandemic swept over the world. They dubbed it the “Pandora virus,” or PV for short, because of its devastating nature. The virus tore through the world’s population. It killed almost one-third of humanity in its first month alone. Countries everywhere grew panicked, believing it to be a work of biological terrorism. Nation stood against nation, and a worldwide war began. Much of earth was laid to waste within just a handful of months by the combined effects of nuclear war and the Pandora virus. Survivors immune to the virus found the world uninhabitable, and many of them perished due to radiation poisoning or famine.

There were other creatures who inhabited this planet along with human beings, though. They had just been in hiding for many centuries. Praeternaturals, they were called. Legendary beings and creatures believed to be nothing more than myth. They were also biologically immune to the Pandora virus. With the foresight of the oracle Euryale, groups of praeternaturals learned of what was to come and prepared for the preordained onslaught. They had built safe havens protected by magic in hidden areas across the world. Taking in as many humans and praeternaturals alike as they could before the war, these communities provided a stable living environment for the survival of all species.

One such safe haven is an ancient land once inhabited by elves, abandoned by them long ago, and renovated into a sanctuary. They call it Elysium. Located in the modern-day Republic of Macedonia near Lake Ohrid, it was once a part of Greece. Now, it is a part of the process to one day rebuild the world.
