[One of the worst things about being sick is that it gets pretty lonely. So, now that Red's feeling better, he wants to talk to everyone to make up for all that he's missed in the last four days.]

Hello everyone! [energetic wave] How are all of you doing today?

[It takes a little while to understand the communicator, but once she has it, Cosmo manages to get the video working. The green-haired girl is certainly unusual, with rose buds on the side of her head. She appears worried]

I cannot deny that what I did was wrong...but is there really no way to go back? My friends...they need my help. [Her help...it's her destiny, and she must help them!] They are in danger of getting hurt...

Can I at least find out if they are alright? If they have been hurt because of me... [Guilt eats at her. Please, please let Tails and the others be alright...]

[Something was off here. The air was colder than it had been just a moment before. But that's not the most important thing.

He can't smell anything. Not even with the little bit of smell he had prior to absorbing his kin.

Distracted by the lack of his rather powerful sense of smell, Pride made it through the early afternoon by rout, even making his way to his Introduction to History class that he had missed upon disappearing four days prior. Arriving a bit early, "Selim" sat down in the empty classroom and idly flipped through the textbook while he waited for the class to arrive.

And waited...

And waited.

Over half an hour passed when he eventually activated the video feed on his communicator, stepping back outside the classroom with his school supplies packed up again. He puts on a slightly worried look.]

Um...Mr. Dylandy? Is class canceled today?

["Selim" is in the shelter cafeteria biding his time, watching others worry about the situation. It's almost amusing, what humans do when they're afraid. If only he could be the one to be hunting them down like those "monsters" outside.

Flicking the switch on his flashlight off and then on every few seconds (as if to conserve its charge), he sits at a table, watching everyone who enters the room. He even looks a bit scared, even though there's no way he is.

It's curious that the communicators no longer work, thus giving him less to listen to, but at least it might bring panic to those around him. Maybe he'll even help with that.]

[He speaks up to anyone who will listen in that room.]
Um...Does anyone know why it's so quiet on the communicator?

[Uther is finding it hard to decide what to do. He's naturally inclined toward fighting, and he wants to seize the chance to join in a good battle, since he doesn't know when the chance will come again. But the creatures are doing far more damage to him than he is to them, and he's forced back inside.]

I could dispatch them if I had a weapon, I know it.

[ the whoosh and crackly sound of fire -- ]

Monsters, twins, vampires, underage children, artificial intelligence -- [ the bzzt of static ]

This place more or less covers them all. Feel free to add whatever I've missed.

[ muffled shrieking of raptors and more static ] On another note, I do hope that this doesn't become too common a occurrence. Too much of a good thing makes it terribly boring.

[ ooc: is cheating and using Eye Raid to stop the monsters in their tracks. feel free to cut down some of the raptors. ]

[Reid has placed himself just outside the shelter entrance, making sure none of the groups coming in were waylaid by anything unpleasant. He's holding a flashlight, keeping it trained on the path that lead there. He's a little on edge. He's never liked the dark. Having a flashlight is what's keeping his mind in the game.]

[You know BB's out of habit when he's feeling tired at night. Talk about unusual. He's too used to having some form of adrenalin in his system keeping him awake.

But it's so much. Quieter. The monsters awhile ago were a wake-up, and more like home, but still. It's weird being up at night without something or someone trying to take over the joint.

The teen roams around the dome instead, in wolf form, trying to keep himself up. The dark green of the wolf pelt blends in a little, so he may startle someone, but at least pretty much no one can hide from his nose]

[It's been a little while since Red found out that Vio had left the prison. He told himself that he should be happy that Vio got to go back home to the others. It's not like Red doesn't have any other friends here. There's Ms. Jennifer, the rest of his housemates, his penpal, and even another Princess Zelda! Still, this is the first time he's been without any of the other Links since the drawing of the Four Sword, and he's finally reached the point where he can't ignore how much he misses them.

He's currently crouched on the front steps of Jennifer's house, his knees drawn up and his crossed arms resting upon them. He's been there for most of the morning and will probably be there for a good part of the afternoon unless someone comes by to cheer him up.]

[There's the sound of a small child gasping and sobbing quietly, as though attempting to stifle the noises.]

This can't be happening, it's not, it's OVER, she came, she got me out, it's not happening again, no, no no...

I didn't do those things! Murder, arson - I've never! I...I want mommy!

[Suddenly the sounds get closer, and the video clicks on as the device is lifted up and fiddled with, revealing a distraught girl of about nine, with long brown hair and blue eyes.]

What is this...can-can anyone hear me! Mom?

[Suddenly, her face...changes, her eyes darkening and her head tilting to the side as her mouth lifts up slightly, in an expression closer to a smirk then a smile.]

Thank you for the gift basket.

[The feed turns on to reveal a blue-haired girl, but to certain members of the prison, her hair color won’t be what draws their attention. That symbol on her chest looks awfully similar to what you would get if you flipped Organization XIII’s emblem...]

Excuse me. I’m terribly sorry to bother everyone like this, but has anyone seen two boys or a mouse who are dressed like me? It’s very important that I find them if they're here.
The 83rd Day
04 October 2010 at 09:23 pm
Good morning, inmates. It is the 83rd day of the third generation, and newly processed criminals will be arriving in the facility over the course of the day.

Concerning the power outage last night, it was a minor error that resolved itself, and I apologize if it caused any inconvenience to inmates.

Today, the climate will be adjusted to progressively cooler temperatures, and some facility plant life will alter as well, in order to create a more autumn atmosphere.

Inmate Cross Marian, use of force against remote units is not tolerated. This will be the only warning.

[Al's voice sounds stressed and he doesn't look like he's feeling very well at the moment. He also looks... older. He hasn't quite realized that yet.]

What's happening...? My head hurts so much... Something's... Something's not right... Brother...? I don't understand...

[He runs a hand over his face then pauses, taking a closer look. His hands are... bigger. Al studies himself in confusion.] What's going on...? Am I... bigger...? I thought... Wasn't that weird stuff supposed to be gone by now...?

[Nepeta's found the convenience store's supply of buckets and playing cards. She hasn't even tried opening the card packs, but they've got all four romance suits on them and no pictures of what's inside, so it must be porn! o_o Shocked thirteen-year-old is shocked.]

[The headache he woke up with was attributed to the commotion that had been plaguing the network all morning. He could care less about some explosion that happened in sector two, and the panic of other people in the dome. Not his problem. Apart from the headache - which was kind of usual in itself - he felt fine. Unlike some of the other inmates, Fuuma hadn't physically changed, so whatever was going around must have just passed him up. That had been his thought, anyways, when he left his apartment building in sector five.]

[Only when he tried to teleport across the dome, it hadn't worked. Strange. He'd never had any problems with it before. One last attempt had produced something... unexpected.]

[Even people who aren't in the immediate area can probably hear the unearthly ringing noise - a high pitched "kyiiiiiiiii" sound - echoing across the dome. Anyone with some kind of powers looking in the direction of sector five might be able to see some kind of barrier set up, about thirty feet across in all directions. Fuuma just stares. It isn't a proper kekkai, that much he can tell, but still. This is some kind of joke, right? He's a Dragon of Earth. And he certainly doesn't have the will to protect the Earth. His voice is rather deadpan when he speaks.]

... Hysterical.

((OOC: Just to piss him off, Fuuma lost his ability to teleport and hear wishes, and got a kekkai-ish thing to replace them. It isn't putting the enclosed space into a different dimension, and doesn't auto-kick people out like a normal kekkai. Since raising it was an accident, anyone in the area got locked in with him, though it won't be for more than a few minutes. Anyone outside the barrier won't be able to get in - it's like a solid wall. Feel free to be stuck inside with Fuuma, or outside and wait for the barrier to drop to come bug him. Just lemme know which!))
