After the fall of the Dark Lord Voldemort things seemed to be at peace in the Wizarding world. The witches and wizards held a month long celebration, honoring Harry Potter and his friends for bringing down the darkest wizard ever to live. There was much rejoice. For years everyone remembered the past, looked to the future and lived everyday life without fear. Their villain was dead and gone. There was no reason to be afraid.
Shortly after the fall of their leader, the Death Eaters had quite a bit to worry about. The Ministry was having a field day, hauling suspected members of the dark organization into trial by Wizengamot. Many were tried but few were sent away to Azkaban. The Ministry had hoped the Death Eaters would turn against each other, tell them who was in and who had the biggest parts in supporting Voldemort’s plan to take over the wizading world. Their hopes were not met, and because of lack of evidence, a lot of dark witches and wizards were set free. Of course the papers just kept repeating the news of Voldemort’s demise, so before long, news of the Death Eater’s escaping prosecution was forgotten.
Lucius Malfoy, Rodolphus Lestrange, Crabbe, Goyle and Walden Macnair were the Death Eaters who were sent to Azkaban. The rest remained free and although lying low, fearing that something was going to come up to bring them down as well, they were re-forming, they brainstormed; thought of ways that not only could they once again be a powerful organization feared by all, but that they would be stronger than they were before. Voldemort was gone. That didn’t mean that what they were fighting for as he died had to die along with him. They were strong enough. Their magic great, extraordinary and wicked all rolled into one. Their plans were simple. Find a way to get to their imprisoned members, break them out of their imprisonment, and then come back into the wizarding world as a full group, grow stronger and then strike. They all know now that the “Deathly Hallows” were indeed real. They know that they are out there somewhere… They plan to obtain these three artifacts and use them in their goal to take down the Wizarding world and make it as they see fit. It might take them years to accompish their goals but they know with patience comes strength. They went about their everyday lives living among the Wizarding world and giving no indications even in the slightest of what they were up to. They acted as model citizens, not wanting to give their dark nature away and people were easily fooled in time, when things settled down. Their children married, had children of their own and raised their children in their ways.
Of course where there is evil there is always good...
The one's once called the children who defeated the Dark Lord were now adults. They worked in the Wizarding society. Some Aurors, some Healers while some of them were accepted on professional Quidditch teams. They kept up with the group called 'The Order of the Phoenix' making sure that there were enough members to keep watch on happenings around them and to be prepared if they were ever faced with an ordeal like they had been faced with when Voldemort was in reign.
Time went by swiftly and smoothly. The adults children were accepted into Hogwarts and a new generation of students was formed. Gryffindor, Slytherin, Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff were as they were before, as they had always been. Darker wizard's children generally went to Slytherin, with a few surprises here and there and one's who were considered on the lighter side of magic's children were accepted into the other three houses but, a few surprises there as well. As much as the parents of the students and the professors preached house unity, there was still an air of segregation in the school. Students who knew of their parents darker ways were taking on the traits in which they were taught, and some innocent students were drawn into their ways. The student's of Aurors and parents who were considered 'good' were judgmental of the one's not like them. Things were pretty much like they were over twenty years ago.
Things are going to start happening in the wizarding world shortly after the children return to Hogwarts. All will be informed of the happenings and all are going to have to decide which side they are on. What side they want to stand for and fight against. The peace is about to come to a screeching halt and the next generation are going to have to deal with all of the happenings the best way they can. They themselves are going to have to form firm bonds, and protect and stand up for what they believe in, whether it be for the good side or the dark. To each student, their side is the one in which they think should prevail and so their actions will reflect that. |
