Veritas is a post-hogwarts slightly AU (For book 7) RPG taking place in the year 2003.

In a post-war world, everything consists of layers. A muggleborn charity known as Wizards for Muggles is actually a front for am ominous agenda: A Pureblood dilution scheme. Halfbloods and muggleborns have been recruited to woo certain purebloods. What happens when actual feelings become involved? Nothing is ever black or white, and that's just the beginning of the story that we've begun to weave.

Currently, a scheme by the Squib Intergrations Foundation to cause witches to lose their magic has just been wrapped up...but on the horizon a new event awaits: A strange plant ....and a strange side-effect....

We are a go-with-the-flow, first person format community looking for lots of new faces. This RPG will feature two general social circles of characters, one younger and still in Hogwarts and one older consisting of parents, Ministry officials, and Order Members. Both circles will receive equal attention. We have a lot of prime spots open and we'd would love anyone who is interested to come check us out and apply for a character. Any level of experience welcome. Who knows? Maybe you've been waiting all your life to be dressed all in plaid.

We're also looking for students, Aurors, Order members, Death Eaters, Werewolves, parents, Ministry Officials, and members of the old pureblood families + socialites. See the complete character list for all the names.

It's still the year 1998 and the summer season is coming to a close as students prepare for another school term after having a mere few months of holiday to pick up the pieces of what remained after the final battle at Hogwarts that left many dead and just as many injured. Harry Potter had finally defeated Lord Voldemort once and for all and although the wizarding world believed that they could now all finally be at peace, everything was not as it seemed as their fantasies of a everlasting peace came crashing down as news spread of a group of dark cloaked figures, known as the Death Eaters continued their own path of destruction, not only having just taken down Hogwarts castle in the final battle, but setting their sights on the destruction of two other wizarding schools, Durmstrang and Beauxbatons with Rodolphus Lestrange taking the leadership role within the notorious group. Hogwarts being the first castle that was taken apart by the final battle, has had time to re-construct and repair the damage to the historical wizarding structure while the other two schools remain nothing more than debris and rubble and still have quite some time before being repaired enough for their students to return and continue their education. With parents of Durmstrang and Beauxbatons students running a muck and complaining to Ministry officials as to the educational future of their children, a meeting was held between the Minister of Magic, the head master of Durmstrang, the head mistress of Beauxbatons and Minerva McGonagall, the head mistress of Hogwarts in order for some sort of solution to be made. With Hogwarts being the only stable educational staple left standing, the four finally came to an agreement that made the parents satisfied as well as everyone involved, being that all Durmstrang and Beauxbaton students would receive their education at Hogwarts until both other schools could be repaired. Another decision was also made during that specific meeting as a lot of Hogwarts's seventh year students hadn't been able to complete their schooling properly due to the final battle to which raised concern. It was then also decided that all Hogwarts students would return to Hogwarts to re-take their former terms and the seventh years would be able to properly complete their final term with their friends as they should have been able to do all along. With the remaining Death Eaters still at large and up to their same tricks only now without Lord Voldemort, Molly Weasley insisted that the trio along with Ginny return to Hogwarts which has now once again been branded as the the safest place to be, the mystery still remains. What are the Death Eaters after this time around and how long will Hogwarts remain safe? How will three entirely different wizarding schools come together when they're stuck with one another in one castle? And lastly, will the wizarding world ever be at peace?
