The holidays have always been something for one to spend with others when I find it the best to take time for myself to reflect on the things past and present, and even the future that has not been determined. I wonder if I will repeat the same mistakes as if fate has doomed me to such a thing. I always strive to make one life different than the last, but the shadows always loom close by.

While the science behind this is quite neat, please do it so in a responsible way. I don't want to get texts from my ER nurse friend, bitching about how people are stupid.

With the holidays over and semester about to start up again it makes me wonder how Odin's family managed with his death so close to it. It can't have been pleasant. My thoughts go out to them at a time when family is so important to one another. Loki and Fenrir are being rather quiet in regards to that

While I expect to be busy with my studies I do hope to be able to fully dedicate myself to my store as usual though, I would hate for it to slip to the side.

I have always known, and know more so now, that I am not made to be in the company of others for extended periods of time. I suppose it is strange given I am a Muse, but since the beginning of tech two weeks ago until now I have not had much time to myself, if at all. Yes, we worked over Christmas. I am feeling at odds with everyone with no real escape. Their jokes, purely mocking, that whenever I say something against their opinion is just me whining, is truly hurtful at this point. I cannot take it in the uh our it was meant, because at every turn I find myself being degraded by those who call themselves my friends. I am tired and would like to go back to my flat and lock myself away for the rest of the winter.

Welp, I don't know about all of you, but my NYE was fan-fucking-tastic. No regrets about having to toss that pair of heels either, they were absolute shite if they broke that easily. Much love to my favorite coworker for giving me a ride.

You guys, if you haven't checked out PelleK then go go go and do it now. His voice... his eyes... looks like I'm booking a trip to Norway eventually.

New Years hang overs are the best. There were only a few times when I had to throw men out of the club last night, but the boss was being a generous man and let us drink.

Looks like I'll be spending New Year's in Israel.

This time of year always feels strange to me. Even though I grew up in Canada, we didn't celebrate the Western traditions. Christmas was just another day for my family and so it is for me. I do enjoy having the day off from work though, that is always nice.

For me the big holiday will be January 31st, Chinese New Year 4712, the year of the Horse. That doesn't mean I won't enjoy celebrating on December 31st though. I like celebrating the New Year twice.

New Year's Eve is Tuesday. Where might I find the best party? Any suggestions? Anyone need a date?

I cannot wait for New Year's Eve. I do not have to work this year, so I will be able to have some fun. I am going to see where the night takes me, but if anyone wants to join me we can meet up somewhere. Just let me know!

I'd like to remind any of you wankers seeking to make trouble at The Excalibur on New Years Eve that if I find out about it I shan't hesitate to come find you and make you regret it. One day Excalibur will be mine, as is my birthright.

This year for Christmas I just want money. Or real estate. Something that I can turn into money. More hits to my gossip blog would also be peachy, but it's been a slow news business since there's been nothing new released about the murder of Odin.

If you give me coal I'll find a way to turn Rudolph into reindeer jerky.

This is the first Christmas where I'm not on duty, not in Afghanistan, Iraq or Vietnam or on call.

I won't know what to do with myself.

It took merely a week in such a fast town and then no one shows any care for the death of a man who held power. I am not surprised, America loves to race to the next 'big' thing rather than appreciate what was there to begin with. Even the hotels here change every couple of years, if it is over 20 than it is too old and must be torn down.

I did finish his autopsy though sometimes murderers have no... creativity.
