It'll be weird not riding the train to school tomorrow. I'm always interested to see the new students who will be coming in...I guess that will just have to wait until the Welcoming Feast!

For the new curse breaker recruits;
While Monday was supposed to be your first day, it's being pushed back to Wednesday. Make sure to come in then for training.
Remember, if you have any questions or want to come see me, my office at Gringotts is open from 9 A.M. to 5 P.M. After that, my hours are from 6 A.M. to 2 P.M.

I have to say, this holiday has been wonderful so far. It's only been the weekend, but the knowledge of not having to go to classes today or worry about any homework...heaven!
That and I didn't do so badly on my exams! I mean, there's a reason I'm not in Ravenclaw, but better than I would have thought! |

I have to say, I'm incredibly excited that more people are discovering e-mail and other such technological wonders. I'd be more than happy to answer any questions anyone might have in regards to Muggle-based technology.
Of course Professor Noble is available, I'm sure, as well. And many of our students who come from that background can help you out, if you need it. |

To the students interested in becoming a curse breaker -
On Friday, after classes, I will be in the library by the reference section. I will have various literature from past curse breakers and be answering various questions in person. I will also have a sign up sheet for those wanting to be interviewed.
The interview will not take place then. It's just so students can see what being a curse breaker entails. |

I got permission from my parents to be able to stay over the summer. I'm fairly relieved as I wasn't particularly intent on spending the summer in Illinois. It's very difficult to keep up with friends and study when you live in another country for half the year. I will miss my family though; even with all the other students around, I think it's very quiet without my brothers and sisters. I suppose they'll just be happy for the extra space in the house. I do hope they don't take down the posters in my half of the room.
In any case, with a lighter summer load of courses, I might be able to sign up for Quidditch! That will be fun.
I think I'll spend the day doing homework outside and watching the bees. |
