I feel most fortunate to have made some friends in the land who are willing to care for my son when I cannot. Are occurrences like what happened this past week common here?

Nevertheless, it is good to have things back to normal. There are a number of faces I very much missed seeing.

When I decided to leave Storybrooke, this wasn't exactly what I had in mind. I don't suppose anyone can tell me where I am?

It feels SO good to be back in the saddle again. At this rate I might stand a chance at getting my pre-baby figure back. I love my little man, but he made mummy all chubby.

I'm even reading about mothers who wear their babies in those little slings and then take them on walks with the horses to get them used to them. And I love it! Very possibly considering this.

So my birthday is on the twelfth and-shocker, I know!-I just kind of want to keep it low key this year. All of my friends and a dinner somewhere nice but not too fancy. Like Olive Garden or Red Lobster. That border between classy and holy-shit-expensive.

So Friday night at about 7? If you want to come. I think we'll go with Olive Garden and for one night the diet goes out the window and never ending breadsticks it is. Mostly I just want to spend time with everyone.

I'll never understand this.

Lifehouse is a wonderful band live. Even if I do tease my husband relentlessly for his music. But I enjoyed them and I think he did, too, and I'm grateful to everyone who stepped up and gave us a weekend of grownup time. But it is SO good to be home with my little boy.

Also? Think I've found my favourite part of Halloween this year! How cute is he??
