However, after the betrayal of one member, the group stumbled enough to fall hard - and was ultimately burnt to the ground. A rival group sprung up from the ground and lead by former members gone rogue called the San Joaquin Skinners. They were better than they ever had been before with the Aces, and they assumed their previous family to be dead. Unfortunately for the Skinners, the Aces were still alive and burning with only a few embers to their name. The Aces' vengeance has only increased, and as time went by, they began to rebuild themselves. Neither one is willing to allow the other to take over and covet their accumulated power. But the real question is, who will survive in their bloodthirsty lifestyles? This game collaborates the workings of the unique club member, each with their own personal evils as well as values. However, it also introduces the lives of the rookies, the members in training, and their relationships with their superiors and the world around them as they are educated and broken. There are a number of positions within the club and not all of them require the task of murder - lawyers, businessmen and women, dancers, mechanics, bartenders, etc. can all be involved in the operation and lead a separate life outside of the club. |

What happens to the old gods, once their temples have crumbled and their believers have abandoned them? Do they die, forsaken, alone? Or do they remain, still wandering the world, immortal, surviving off what little belief they can gather? Forgotten Gods follows the lives of these old deities, brought to America long ago by explorers or immigrants from their homelands and eventually abandoned or lost from memory. As their worshippers moved on to new religions, the gods' powers waned - for a god, at its most pure essence, is no more than an idea, and an idea is worthless if there is nobody to believe in it. Some have passed, forgotten, from the world, while others have fallen into madness. Some have simply tried to adapt, to make a life for themselves in this place without gods, getting by on what little scraps of worship and belief they can garner. Others are more radical, attempting to regain the power that was once theirs, to revive their followings. And then there are the New Gods. Gods of cars and computers, television and radio, cities and highways, all those things that modern Americans put their faith in. They are young, at the height of their power. These newcomers are regarded dismissively by some of the older gods, who have seen so many new deities rise and fall in their time; jealously by others, who wish to reclaim the power for their own; and by all with a deep wariness. For six years the world of Harry Potter has been free of the terror of Lord Voldemort. Witches and Wizards alike are reclaiming their lives of old. Doors are no longer locked in the face of strangers. Children are no longer kept at home to prevent the terror of social and political turmoil. The Wizarding world is slowly recovering from a decade of darkness, it's citizens peering out into the world with hope as the sun rises around them. Are these actions premature? Tom Riddle is no more, but consider the possibility of there being something far more sinister lurking in the darkness. A man who kills for ambition is harmless beside a man who kills for the thrill. For centuries myths and stories have resounded throughout both the Muggle and Wizarding worlds. Muggles believe them the workings of fantasy. The Wizards consider them animals, easily contained. Welcome to the Death Eater Reform Project, a AU Post-Hogwarts, non-Epilogue compliant game. The year is 1999, a year after the end of the Second War. Lord Voldemort is dead, killed by Harry Potter, the Wizarding World’s Hero. But there has been no rest for those in the Ministery. With Kingsley Shaklebolt the newly elected Minister, the Aurors are busier than ever, hunting down the remnants of the Death Eaters. The ones they catch are quickly filling the cells in Azkaban, which makes the already nervous populace even more so. With Dementors no longer guarding the Wizarding prison, fear of Death Eaters escaping runs high. That is when Minister Shaklebolt is approached by a young woman, a Seer with a plan of action. She proposes a melding of good and evil through marriage, a way to reform the Death Eaters into people acceptable by today’s society. She explains to him the hardships all will face in the beginning of the plans implementation, but she also explains the benefits that will come about. The Death Eater Reform Project is then adopted, an article in the Daily Prophet detailing the specifics of the project, explaining their reasoning behind it. Their hopes of creating a better world by having the people themselves reform the Death Eaters. The response to this is mixed, with opposition the majority. Not even the offer of compensation through money could do much to make the populace more receptive. But the Minister and his Seer stand steadfast, waiting the storm out and hoping that fate will not twist and turn the Seer’s future into yet another war. |

| The focus of the game is character interaction and plot development. Real life drama is not allowed to bleed into the game - and the mod will watch for it. Rules are expected to be followed, but the moderator also knows that mistakes sometimes happen! She expects that. All in all, the game is meant to be a relatively free roleplaying zone, as long as the rules are followed. Players are relatively free, as I said, to have characters interact the way they want as long as it is in-character behavior. Most assume it will be the Boy Who Lived, but when Harry Potter refuses to become a candidate, that leaves the field wide open. Multiple candidates are chosen, one from each Ministry Department. Each promise peace and prosperity, but most have their own agenda. Worse, as the election heats up, a war between Departments is stirring as each fights for dominance. What began as a silly little prank among friends has ended up as a school wide fad. A few ambitious Gryffindors decided that since they were unable to find dates to the Halloween Ball, they would create a journal were they could post 'single ads'. This journal was accessible by any female or male in seventh year and served as an anonymous way for girls and boys to 'hook-up'. A Slytherin who wished to remain anonymous has taken the idea on step further. He set up a service where for two galleons anyone could send in their ad and have it open for response from anyone from the four houses. He assigned each person a codename that they could use when responding and required that the users only contact each other anonymously in the ad journal until the springtime when he is planning a revealing ball when everyone who spoke in the ads could meet face to face. He calls himself 'Romeo". When Minerva McGonagall, the current headmaster, finds out about the journal ad service, she consults the teachers at Hogwarts. It is concluded that while inappropriate on so many levels, it is fostering a sense of togetherness. It is bringing together students from rival houses.
