So, I think it's that time.
It's time to close Wizarding Singles. I want to thank everyone for playing and dealing with the transition and sticking so long. I only joined a few weeks before I took over, and I had a lot of fun playing here. I think you are all amazing players and this game had a really good run. Thank you guys for putting up with it and letting me play with you!

Hi! I'm Claire and I'm bringing in my first kid here, Garan Summerby! He's a 6th year Hufflepuff, Prefect, and Quidditch Seeker. He's a generally nice guy, not very complicated, but he is a muggleborn, or so he thinks. He has never known his dad, so it's all ~mysterious~ and stuff, so who knows, his father could have been a wizard!
All of his information is up at his journal if you want to get a feel for his personality and such, but yeah, I'm definitely looking for friends, crushes, ex-girlfriends, rivals?, acquaintances, and more-complicated-ones :). Now for just a little information about me. I'm a graduating high school senior, and I'm going to William and Mary for college next year, yay! Hello! It's Kasey again, this time bring you Gemma Yaxley. Gemma's a 7th year Slytherin, and to put it nicely, she's a bitch. While she can be friendly, it's only to those people of an upper class or that prove themselves to be intellectually worthy. As the daughter of a Death Eater, she is against mudbloods muggles, though she does believe they should be allowed at Hogwarts, they just shouldn't be allowed the same education. However, she is a bit of a hypocrite on this because she has a secret (very secret) obsession with muggle science fiction novels. You can read more about her HERE.

Hi! I'm Rose and I'll be playing Hannah Abbott, Seventh year Hufflepuff. She's cheerful, sweet, and overall a very approachable person. And it's true that she's a prefect, but that doesn't necessarily mean that she's a very good authority figure, in fact, she thinks whoever made her prefect was just playing a cruel joke (and knowing the current situation, it probably is). Right now she's pretty focused on the DA and making the school a generally better place. I have to apologize for being so.. absent from the game. The hubby caught a cold or something a few weeks back and every time he starts to get better, the next day he's worse again. My baby girl has had a cold on and off, and I have to watch her for seizures (she had them over christmas when she got extremely ill). The baby boy, he's caught something as well, not to mention he's cutting back teeth, so he's another someone I am having to watch over. Now, top this off, with the fact that I've come down with a cold (consisting mostly of a throat that feels like its on fire), and you have my situation. I am running around all day/passing out early at night until we get better.
I do pop on the PC periodically through the day, so if you see me on AIM @ ragebrokenhearte don't hesitate to IM me. Chances are, I'm a few feet away and will get back to you shortly.

So, you should've gotten one of these from me earlier, but I'm kind of made of fail, and RL is kind of made of fail, and I have the attention span of a goldfish... but better late than never! Anyway!
Hi there! I'm Kassie and I have two boys to introduce to you, one Anthony Goldstein (mister_tact) and one Draco Malfoy (depressive). Anthony is your seventh-year male Ravenclaw Prefect and tends to have the tact of a brick. He's nice, smart, well-intentioned, and generally not a bad guy, but he's also a little too honest or too sarcastic for most people. And he's kind of easily excitable. Kind of being an understatement, here. When something really gets him going, it's generally a good idea to just humour him or he'll talk your ear off about it. His pet cause is education reform, which he's considering going into professionally, provided he doesn't die anytime soon.
Draco, on the other hand, is much less nice and sees no reason why this really needs to change. Despite the pains he goes to in order to maintain his carefully cultivated public persona -- this, naturally, being that he's a selfish, bitchy little brat, a bully, and otherwise Not Someone You Really Want to Spend Time With -- there's more going on here than that, mostly that he's rather traumatized courtesy of Dear Auntie Bella and her Bald Boyfriend. He's miserable and self-loathing, but even more prone to misanthropy, and unless your name is Moaning Myrtle, he's probably not talking about this with you. Nothing personal, he just hates you a bit.

I am Sally, and this is Harry Potter. :D He's a big ball of angst right now, but he keeps it hidden well for the most part. You all know his life story, I'm sure, so I don't think I need to go into that, but cliffnotes for how Harry's doing right now: It's not so great. He's trying to simultaneously keep his friends and push them away, because people close to him keep dying, so he knows that it's bad to be around him. But he hates being alone. So he's torn. :\

Hello, all! I'm Jeanne, here with the other half of the Montgomery sisters, Luci. She's a seventeen year old Slytherin sixth year, and a bit more outspoken and social than her sister. As Carrah mentioned, the girls' younger brother was killed last year (it's actually almost to the anniversary now), but unlike Cadi, Luci blames her mother for their brother's death. The arguing has caused a bit of a rift in the family, but Luci is nothing if not stubborn. As for relationships, I mentioned in her application that she's posted a few ads, but it hasn't led to anything too serious. ALL RIGHT. Hi folks! It is I, Kelly, who you may know better as the brains behind one Nate Vaisey. I am here to introduce to you the long awaited (maybe?) WILLIAM RICKETT.
So, what's there to know about Will? He's a sixth year Hufflepuff, but he couldn't be more un-Hufflepuff if he tried. He talks nonstop and without any sort of filter. He's flighty as heck. When something bores him, he moves on without another thought. He likes to think of himself as a bit of a ladie's man, but whether or not this is actually true, WHO KNOWS. Likely as not as much as he says.
Also, he's horrible with liars. He can't point them out... like at all. He's a very easy target, haha. Oh, that's probably why he's a Hufflepuff.

Unfortunately, my time here at WS has drawn to a close. I am off to Morocco tomorrow for two years and I will have limited computer access and a lot of work to do that will keep me from being able to RP. I really enjoyed my time in this game and playing Lavender while I could! I wish you all the best of luck and hope to someday play with you again in the future.

This is Tasmin Leigh Applebee (Taz for short), a 6th year Hufflepuff who's just a mischevious streak, a couple of IQ levels, and a few feet of hair short of being Sailor Moon. She's all about love & justice! And practical jokes. She particuarly likes to mingle the practical joke and the justice part (ie. In her fourth year she spiked the pumpkin juice of a bunch of bullies with hair-grow potion). Taz is obstinant and sometimes insensitive, but she can charm your pants off when she wants something.
She's hella over protective of her homies, is very prone to boogie-ing in her under-roos, and has an outrageous temper and likes to pick arguments with random people when she's frustrated, because it makes her feel better.
And she needs friends! And besties! And enemies-es! And backstory like whoa!

So, I am a total lazy ass and apologize for not having Valentine's put up or anything, but XD I wasn't home at all yesterday, and I've got to go to work in like...an hour, so I'm gonna just put here what everyone got from mah boyz:
Stephen:
--Pretty much all of his friends got some sort of generic Valentine that he gave a simple twist to by adding a personal message. Unfortunately, I don't have the time to write all those out. :P But needless to say, they're designed to make people feel good. The Raven boys and girls got an additional piece of chocolate.
After his conversation with Anthony, Stephen gave Michael a very special Valentine as a joke that asks him to be his Valentine and that says they're going to dance at the ball. Hahaha. (Yes, Holly and I are cruel.)
Jack:
Pretty much ANYONE Jack is acquainted with got a really random Valentine with some sort of message on it. However, his closer friends (like Lila, Madi, Drew, etc.) got a more personalized message and a promise for some special one on one time later on.
Ugh. Now I have to get ready to go work. Failure!
Happy belated Valentine's Day!
AHHH before I forget. Orla. Stephen got Padma something for her birthday, but I forgot to post it, because I got sick on Thursday/Friday. Anyway, he got her a gift certificate (or, rather, his parents got him one with money he paid them) of 8 galleons to Madame Malkins.
