All right, so its been a long time since I've contacted anyone for plotting, but before that, I recall doing a good amount of it. And I don't know how into those ideas everyone still is.

So, here's the thing. For the sake of plots, Kiba needs... someone who can detangle his thoughts (aka someone who knows what he's thinking when he doesn't get what he's thinking himself)

other than that, I open myself to free pinging if anyone has an idea, ( RedXFangXInu on AIM or XHidaka at Gmail/Google chat are your best chances to get a hold of me)

OR!! if you'd like to discuss out here in the open, and have me ping you when we feel we got something, COMMENT HERE NOW.

ATTN: ALL YOU PEOPLES -- NEWS HERE (read all about it? shot)

We've ( a group of us, mods included ) have decided that it's probably a good idea if we just drop the bomb threads. We aren't going to nullify the plot but we're going to assume the ending so to speak.

Which was:
Tenny got a call from the bomber guy, the power shut off and Neji, Hina, and Naruto were trapped in the elevator (coincidentally with the bomb attached). Then Kiba, Shizune and Shika were called up to rescue them then dundun- discovered and diffused the bomb! Thus saving everyone's asses and my hotel.

We want everyone to discuss the details here so we're all on the same page, so DEFINATELY give your imput!

Also, lets take a few days to relax plotwise and do some mingling etc/give Sasuke time to run around planning this coming out party. Then after those few days, we'll dive into the COMING OUT PARTY! Which will be fun and hopefully not drag on (which I doubt it will because people can mingle and get involved with other people!)

Housekeeping stuff...

Because we need some communication and plottings. Despite popular belief, the Bomb Threat event CAN'T last forever. And I'd like very much for this place to LIVE.

Kiba [ k9_blood_hound ] - I'm still working on that reply for the... bar thing between them. ^^;

Sasuke [ headhustler ] - ...I actually don't know if we had any plots in mind other than history and backlog stuff.

Neji [ heavenly_eyes ] - A meeting between them is still happening... I hope.

Shizune [ shizune ] - Um... POST-BOMB THREAT BAR TIME? 8DDD But I suppose that probably includes anyone else willing to come with them too who wish to drown their thoughts in alcohol...

Itachi [ hushedlaw ] - We... still have a backlog to finish? 8D;

Things to note:
* Relations between the Uchiha and Sabaku factions still need to be cleared out at least a little bit, please?
* Reserve and Application posts... need attention?

I do not think I had anything else planned with anyone else. But I'm always open to some plotting~ So feel free to ping and discuss. ^^

Attn People.

It has come to my attention - yet again - that people are annoyed with me~.

I'm going to say this again but to EVERYONE since apparently the messege was never recieved.

IF you are annoyed/want to complain/have an issue with ME : GET A HOLD OF, ME.

Email is prefered since AIM is unreliable.

Now, this is an issue that's really beginning to bug the crap out of me. I respect people who bring their issues to the people they have issues with, if you go behind peoples back and complain to other people about other people - you're lacking maturity no matter your age.

The second issue is my activity. First of all, this whole plot has taken forever and NO it isn't my fault. It wasn't planned very well obviously and nothing is organized. As for my activity during it, Sasuke is waiting to jump into the thread because shit NEEDED to happen BEFORE he could. I was told by Lana that she would inform me when exactly to jump back into the thread and havent as of yet. So excuse me.

And to end this - it wasn't meant to be bitchy its just letting everyone know what the hell is going on. If you want to talk to me about it; by all means contact me. But If this continues I'm pretty much done. For now, I want to work on this stuff.

Hey guys,

Just so you know, I haven't forgotten about this place. I've been waiting? XD Neji and Itachi are supposed to talk to each other via phone - so I'm waiting to have that happen before Sasuke actually GETS to Itachi.

Then Kabuto has to join them, and then Tenten will get a call to head down as well.

IF we're going with the original plan. So. This is me letting the parties involved, where I stand o.o; also! i'm up for logging other shit in the meantime if anyone has any ideas/needs :3 i'm pretty bored. XD

Hey everyone~

Kit here presenting the last of the Sabaku kids, Temari!

So...there are a few things you need to know in case you interact with her, or anyone who knows her. First off, I would recommend at least skimming through her history. If you want the quick version...yes, she is a Sabaku and therefor grew up in a mafia family. However, she's cut most of her ties to that lifestyle, though not her brothers. She changed her last name upon entering college to avoid the influence (good and bad) that it carried and has been earning her own way ever since as Haruki Temari. As far as any of the characters here are concerned, unless you actually see the three siblings together or one of them tells you, you won't know. She works as a government official sifting out corruption in public offices (and abuse/negilgence of how resources are spent) and keeps her family and past on the waaaay downlow.

All that being said...if you have questions/comments/plot ideas/whatever, let me know! You should all know where to find me, after all ;)

minor upkeep

Aight, I went through the posts on the logs and main com and updated the tags. When posting please try to remember to use them. If it doesn't let you, let me know and I will see what I can do about it.

Also been playing around the with layouts on the OOC and Logs to show the tags. These are not permanent, if people don't like them we'll find something else but that's what IJ has to offer that, like Naruto, is cheap and easy. ((♥ our Naru)) Jo says she will add the html to the original layout so the main board will have them as well, cause she's awesome like that.

Also, it's about that time again. everybody needs to get in the box again. I've updated the lists so you don't have to. Just log into the character journals and type the name into the box, and it will sort your buddy list through the admin console. All names should be accurate, if any are missing it's because you haven't actually joined the com. yet.

Speaking of which, if you haven't joined, please go to the profile pages for therisingsun risingsun_ooc and risingsun_logs and be sure to click on the request to join there. The mods CANNOT accept and approve your posting priveleges until you do that!

Epic Event is Epic

Me and Lana have been trying to think of something to get more of the police and others involved in this. So we've come up with a surprise event (the initial post will go up after this).

It will start with one character, who will bring in others, and so on down the line, like a domino effect. You do not have to keep all posts under the intial one started by the mod account. as different groups get involved, or different scenes from the event unfold, you may start a separate post to try to keep things orderly. If anyone has any problems or questions about their involvement, or wants to make a suggestion, feel free to hit me or Lana up about it.

Don't worry if you're not sure where to go! We want this to be fun and interesting, so get creative/crazy with it!

Have had no internet.... going on about a month will still have no internet. Just a heads up for whatever's going on, that I've had technical difficulties hence the dead silence from me. Hopefully that will change. Just doing what i can.

Finally upgraded my internet and it knocked out all the phone lines in the house and now we have to get the whole place re-wired. Go figure.

I mean, I can't go to the coffeeshop and mooch internet every day, possibly this is a one time thing. We'll see. Hoping to be back online.... sometime this century. Until then Kiba and Rai will be a bit spotty....

Anyway, you can still IM me, it will go to my cell phone. So if you want to plot that way, or just say hi, you can still do that through my AIM RedXFangXInu ...

Hello everyone! Sorry for the REALLY late intro, but as we all know, life can really hand us a kick to the balls. Which is what it did and why I've been pretty much not here.

But I'm here now, for however long real life allows, but if I get busy I might not be posting/replying as much. T_T

So between connection problems and trying to level-grind to 40 before Patch Day (yesterday) in WoW, I've been a little awol lately. But, as long as my connection continues to hold, I'll be available more in the evenings now. I'm restricting my WoW time due to neglecting other things, including my role playing (not to mention the everlooming wall of boxed from when I moved...back in June).

Plot with me! Give Shizune things to do, awkward conversations, seemingly innocent run-ins with "the other side" or whatever. I'm game for just about anything. And she really needs to have something to be able to post about. XD

#1- Lets give a nice warm welcome to our newest member, Katie, who will be picking up Ino. I'm sure she'll make a fine addition to our game.

#2- I'm going to try to put together a contact info post, as well as a listing of what everyones jobs/affiliations are. I'd like everyone to reply to this post with the following info on each of their characters if you have more then one):

Status - note- If you'd like to include a short 1-3 sentance description to better clarify your characters status (eg: Owner of the Rising Sun and head of the Uchiha Clan, or K9 officer with the Narcotics Unit) that would be appreciated

#3- It's come to my attention that for some reason people are posting on the LOGS board and not in the main com page where they are supposed to. Let me clarify here. Posts pertaining to current events in the storyline go on the main page:

therisingsun. These can be done in many forms including, but not limited to standard threads, Gdoc's, AIM chats, etc.

LOGS, such as previous events done to help establish history or even things that you want to rp but don't really have any major impact/relevence to current events go on the logs com:

risingsun_logs. These typically are done in Gdocs or Chatlogs but again are not limited to those.

Posts currently started on the LOGS page can stay there, but it would be appreciated if they went on the proper board from now on. Since the post with Sasuke/Tenten went up I thought the place was dead till someone pointed out where everything has been going. I have a feeling we lost several potential players who had reserved and then never apped because they didn't see any activity on the main page and thought the same.

And last but not least #4 - I have to ask members please to not invite non-members/applicants into the com's group chat rooms or to encourage them to "plot" with other players until they have been accepted. This is standard procedure in most RP groups and it's one I would like to enforce here as well. If nothing had been stated previously in the rules it's because I didn't think it needed to be said.

That should be enough for now. Hope to catch you all in chat before I get sucked up by work again.

Tsunade~ we should discuss back story potential...and Sasuke...we should just talk. ^.^ Ya know, since Shiz is basically your very own Pepper Potts.

I've got other plotty ideas that I've mentioned to a few of you, so if anyone wants to discuss or just chat in general...most of you know where to find me. But if you don't, you can catch me on AIM as "leafpoison" or email me at malinear @ gmail.

Theoretically I shouldn't be able to access journal-type sites from work, but IJ isn't blocked like LJ is, so occasionally I can do short replies on lunch or something. Evenings and weekends are usually the best time to catch me around though.
