My darling sisters, I've tried to start this message about a hundred different ways, but for once in my life, words escaped me. Our lives have each had unbelievable highs and lows, and I'm afraid to say that cycle's not over for us yet. Don't worry, this isn't bad news, I promise, but it is huge, life changing news. It almost feels magical that this is happening this week, as if the universe had decided to give you both the best birthday gift imaginable considering everything.

I thought about surprising you both with it, ambushing you at dinner and seeing your reactions in person, but that feels cruel after everything. So instead, I'm going to tell you now, over the network, where you both can take the time and space you need to process this.

I've found dad. He's alive and healthy, but he suffered severe memory damage during the war. From what I've been able to gather, dark magic was used to erase his knowledge of magic and our world entirely, along with a lot of other basic things. The muggles found him, treated him, rehabilitated him, gave him an identity, and sent him on his way.

I know it's a lot to take in. I've started making calls to find the best Healers who might be able to reverse the memory damage, but in the meantime, I know he'd like to have dinner with us all, to meet you two again. He's so much like I remember him. They took his memories, but they didn't take him.
