I've just had my hair done, so it's time to take a quiet moment before plunging back into the wedding preparations.
Cho's getting married! I'm so happy and proud that I think I might cry later. I'm going to have to find somewhere to stash some tissues!!! She is one seriously gorgeous glowing bride and I can't wait to see Fin's face when he sees her.

What: Cho and Finbar’s wedding + New Year’s Eve celebration

When the guests arrived, the sun was shining from a clear blue sky. The snow that covered the estate, sparkled like diamonds and the cold turned the air fresh and crisp. Upon arrival, the guests were ushered along heated paths, from the main building, across the vast garden passing the marquee that would later house the party, to the family chapel with expansive windows overlooking the lake.
In front of the window, a surprisingly calm looking Finbar was talking to his brother, Ailfrid – who would officiate the wedding – and his groomsmen Viktor, Seamus, Cormac, and Kermit. The guests had been seated, and everybody was simply waiting for the time to be right.
Gentle music alerted the groomsmen, that now was the time, and as they stood up straight, the door opened. Melinda, the maid of honour, walked in first, followed by Marietta, Lavender, and Penelope. One by one, they took their places across from the groomsmen, and finally it was time.
Cho was radiant as she walked down the aisle, her father solemn yet unable to conceal his pride. Finbar greeted her with a tender smile as he held his hand out to her, and let his brother take over from there.
There ceremony was kept traditional, though still highly personal. This was Cho and Finbar’s wedding, and it reflected in everything, from the music to the vows that were spoken as the setting sun filled the chapel with warm, golden light.
Afterwards, the guests once again made their way through the garden – illuminated by hundreds of fairy lights – to the marquee. Dinner was served by attendants clad in midnight blue, and when the time for dancing came, the tables were swiftly rearranged to make room.
Before midnight, the cake was cut and the newlyweds had their first dance.
