RP: Sharing the Surprise
Who: Hype and Coop
When: Wednesday, April 11, 2010
Where: Hype's new house
What: Zahara gave Hyperion a fantastic birthday gift on Sunday, and he is finally ready to share it with his best friend.
Warnings: None
The Magpies had a game tomorrow, so when Hyperion had messaged Coop earlier, asking him to swing by the new house (they were so close to being move-in ready!), his best mate had let him know it would have to wait until after morning practice, the team having the afternoon off today to prepare for tomorrow's game. Fitz, however, had time and so came over to see the motorcycle Zahara had given him for his birthday on Sunday. After all the jokes and comments she'd made after his huge gifts to her, he'd had no idea what she might get or do for him for his birthday, but she'd definitely blown him away with this gift.
It was a surprisingly nice day out today, so he was hanging out in the garage of the new house, tinkering with things while he waited for his best mate to be done with the team for the day so he could come over. He couldn't stop his thoughts from circling while he waited though, thinking about how everything was coming together. Soon, he and Zahara would be moving into this house, preparing to have their first child, and they would be revealing to his sisters the different living spaces they'd concocted for them: the suite in their house for Persephone to utilize whenever she wanted, and the house Hyperion had taken the initiative to have built for Dora and her children. He had little doubt that there would be loud voices and perhaps a bit of magic when Dora finally found out about the house, but it would be worth it, he thought.
And he had so many other ideas, too, things to make the most out of the land they'd bought. He knew Gen was big on the greenhouses, and he and Zahara had already had the massive pool built behind their house, but he wanted more for them all. Some of those things were simply going to have to wait, though. He wasn't broke by any means, but he'd certainly depleted much of his liquid funds in building the homes. Selling the townhouse would help, but that would take time.
That was okay, though. Life was good, despite the recent tragedies, and he had a feeling it was only going to get better. Or, perhaps, he was determined to believe it would. Either way.
