Yeah, it's like, he eats ice cream out of the carton, he gets kidnapped by both people claiming him as their representative, he chooses Toad in Mario Kart, he has a mythical sword. Six in one hand, half a dozen in the other, really.

Is Toad some kind of important figu He seems awfully humble for someone that fits under the 'I'm a Big Deal' category, then. I have dealt with Kree. They're not easy, and I have seen them revolt against peace treaties.

When we first started as superheroes he was all "I'm so sorry that I couldn't hold up this entire building for more than ten minutes, guys, I've really let the team down," so I've had to become the hype man. But they are absolutely jerks. Ronan the Accuser? I accuse you of droning on and on and on.

Well, to be fair, the prophecy thing happened recently. Before, Teddy thought he was distantly related Dr. Banner--green, giant, shapeshifting, super strength, it made sense, we were all recruited because of our relation to other Avengers.

Not a ton, honestly. We saw him a little bit--like I said, the Kree and Skrull have been engaged in a war that's been going on for a thousand years or some nonsense, so he's been to Earth a handful of times. Teddy knows more about the space stuff than I do as far as what's currently going on, I'm good for like, here are the different races and who has been to Earth vs. who leaves us alone.

That is a name I know at least, yes. My experience with the Avengers starts and ends with Thor. And that fucking fight - And my Earth knowledge is slim aside from what Peter tells me. I hear it's a lot like this world anyway.

I take it Teddy's yours?

Guardians, right? Teddy said we joined, later on. I always liked the name. I miss being a Young Avenger because I miss that team every day, but the name was sort of given to us by the media.

Peter gave it to us - in my version of things, at least. He's very proud of having 'badass lines' in the middle of a fight. The team back home is different now from my understanding, but I like knowing the mantle is passed on.

I don't find it weird.
