Well, that was the second worst ten-day span of my life, thank you very much. The cats were certainly happy to see me again, so at least there's that (my thanks to to those who were able to care for them in my absence).

This whole experience has done nothing do much as make me even more curious of the magic in this place. I'd like to conduct interviews with anyone willing to discuss their magic with me; I've the most interest in magic regarding leylines or foresight, though I'm happy enough to talk any other sorts as well.

Ah, that depends on if you mean in general or those with intelligence. There's quite a few, but elves and dwarves are generally common, although elves are... unfortunately not treated very well. Dwarves have issues too, but they tend to be more respected than elves are. Succubi, Incubi, Vampires, Godlings, Sylvans. By no means an exhaustive list. There are also unicorns, but they're dimension-hoppers.

A bit of both? They tend to be directly prophetic to what's going to happen rather than potentials but it's difficult to tell when.

That is quite the list. Legends say there used to be fae in my world centuries ago, though they left back to their own realm centuries ago and took most of the magic with them. I'd always thought it was just a children's story, but recent events have made me think it might have been true. Nothing like that exists now though.

Yes, I understand that spontaneously occuring visions are near certain, and it grows less certain when the foreseer tries to invoke a vision on their own.

You could say it's almost the opposite for the world I come from. Hundreds of years ago there was an event called the Conjunction of the Spheres where multiple worlds were... pushed together, for lack of another world. Humans, elves and other creatures were displaced to the world of gnomes and dwarves, along with monsters that need- population control.

Hm. I don't tend to actively try and invoke visions, so I couldn't say if they would be accurate. I've had visions during my time in Vallo.
