Who: Lizzy, Beecher, possibly Holly and Chris Where: California When: early in the morning on Wednesday What: Lizzy ran away to find Chris.
The paper man had found it strange to find a little girl with a puppy in her lap sleeping on the door step of Tobias Beecher's house. Tip toeing around Lizzy he set the newspaper down before shrugging it off and putting it around the girl's shoulders. Maybe he should report it but he didn't know the whole story and slunk off.
After school the previous day she'd run off. She didn't want to be around her dad, or Dickie or Alex or even Olivia. She wanted to be with her uncle. He was a piece of sanity in all the insanity and was a comfort. Elizabeth had begged him to let her stay with him after finally getting a hold of him but he'd refused. Said he was staying with a friend and his kid and he wasn't going to bring in a house guest of his own. So she'd gotten the name of Keller's friend from her father a while back and went looking for him. Finding his address in the phone book she'd got there late that evening after everyone seemed to be tucked away in the house, the lights off.
Knowing she wasn't welcome inside, she figured she'd at least be able to sleep outside and was glad she'd brought her puppy Jules with her. The lab laid in her lap, keeping an ever watchful eye over the girl bundled up in a jacket even as morning came. |

Who: Tobias Beecher and Chris Keller What: Arguments, Violence, Sex. The usual. When: Tonight Warnings: See the 'what'.
Tobias had been on edge, since Chris came home the other night- the man had fallen into bed, still clothed, reeking of sex. For once, Tobias decided to just ignore it, figuring whatever it was, he would not want to know.
He felt guilty about that choice, as soon as he saw Stabler's message on the boards. Keller had gotten violent, and taken it out on someone close. Not only was he almost positive this wasn't Stabler's fault, but he figured it was his. Now he was left with the choice of letting Stabler pay for his mistakes, or take the heat himself.
While the former was a more appealing alternative, he was trying to lead a better life. Even if it might be shortened, by this choice.
Either way, he knew they had to talk about it, at least. So he was waiting for Chris to come back, reading distractedly on the couch in the family room. |

Who: Tobias Beecher, Chris Keller What: More TV-show based freakouts, possibly more sex When: The day after the last B/K log. Warnings: See the what.
Toby had thrown himself into his work as soon as he'd woken up (for the fifth time), curled up on the couch in his den, large law book in hand. The piles around him had grown exponentially, almost resembling the bars he'd once dreaded. Now they felt safe- a barrier between him and the television across the room, which he glared at on occasion as if it was its fault he was cracking. |

Who: Beecher and Keller Where: The B/K Home, of course. When: Whatever happened to Saturday Night? Warnings: Gender-Swap remix! Toby gets revenge, via Cole Turner's Business Sense.
Once again lacking the general nuisance of his daughter's presence- she seemed to have hundreds of friends, or at least plenty of people that thought he was a bad enough father, to take her in at night- Toby was lounged on the couch, working on reading up for his bar. Chris was around, he knew, but the man had taken to avoiding him when he was holding a book larger than a skin-mag, probably for fear of being asked to help him study.
Toby didn't seem to mind the silence. |

Who: Beecher and Keller What: Tattoos, discussions, and sex, oh my When: Backdated to after the Stabler/Keller thread Warnings: See the what.
Tobias was lounged on the couch, back under his pile of legal text, waiting impatiently for Chris to come back, call him, something. Messing with the detective, in the sober light of day, was a shit-poor idea. They were going to get into deep shit, he could feel it. Most of him dreaded it, but there was still a small voice in his head, the remainder of his insanity from the confines of Oz, that took a sort of joy in it; that's who he was, now. Who they were. Of course they'd be in shit.
Holly was off at a friends, spending the night since she didn't have school. Toby was glad she wouldn't be there for the discussion, and the... repercussions that would likely follow. |

Who Chris and Tobias What Chris legally kidnapped Stabler's daughter and Toby is making a 'thing' out of it. Jeez. Where Beecher's place in California When After Chris' adventure with Liz Warning K for Keller? Language, sexuality and violence. Viewer discretion is advised.
Pulling in to Toby's driveway, Chris had a grin on his face. All fucking with Stabler aside, he didn't mind hanging out with the kid, taking her for a ride. Though, the fact that it would freak Stabler out, shake him up and let him know that Chris could do things like that without warning did amuse the man. Greatly. The guy still didn't even know Chris had been in prison, for Christ Sakes. It was something to laugh about.
Taking off his helmet and getting off the bike, he headed to the house, glad to find the door open for him as he stepped in. Kicking off his boots, he stashed his keys in his pocket and walked into the house in search of Beecher. He figured the guy would still be on about his little outing, but oh well. It wasn't like he didn't know how to deal with Tobias. |

Who: Tobias and Belle What: coffee and insanity. Possible catharsis Where: Chicago When: Right now! Warnings: dude, it's a guy from Oz and a girl who's been an assassin all her life and just got raped. Figure out what kind of warnings go here.
There was no problem with finding the place. She had been to Chicago a couple times, and being a telepaht meant never having to stop and ask directions, anyway.
So it only took twenty minutes for her to arrive, even after factoring in telling Gilbert goodbye and debating whether or not the revolver was overkill.
She had claimed a table close to the door, and was reading a magazine article about water-based gardens. |

Who: Beecher and Melissa What: Getting high, adjusting to the strange new world When: Today, early morning, after leaving Chris high and dry in California Warnings: Drug use, strong language- anything else, I'll let you know.
Toby had looked up where this portkey was supposed to be, having to haul himself there on foot; he hadn't driven anywhere, since the accident. He didn't want to start, just to leave the car abandoned while he went halfway around the world. Finally making his way to the portkey, he glanced down at it; an old beer bottle, of all things. Cautiously, he reached down to touch it, feeling the now-familiar lurch of the ground from under his feet. Managing to land on his feet this time, he stumbled to the nearest wall, leaning into it while looking around for this 'Melissa' he was supposed to meet. |
