He smirked to himself as he pulled on his coat and shoved on his boats-you didn't go to meet the guy who looked exactly like you every day, right? And this Elliot guy seemed alright, for a cop. There was a sick thrill in Chris, going for drinks with a cop, of course. Psychopathic killer and hack, sitting down for a beer? Yeah, it made Chris laugh.

Heading out into the night air, it wasn't long before Chris was at the bar, early, moving to sit in a booth near the back. Habit called that he couldn't be seen but everyone else could, so he sat in a booth so that he could watch the door and wait for the Elliott guy to show up. He wondered if the guy had the same tattoos, even. This was going to be fun. He ordered himself some fries and a beer to wait for the guy-Hey, he wasn't going to go hungry waiting for his doppleganger.

He'd perhaps gleaned that Keller wasn't the best person to hang out around but hey, the guy had offered drinks and he wanted to see his doppleganger in the flesh. After taking a portkey-which honestly made him need a drink even more-he managed to find the bar. Stepping inside, dressed in a long dark blue trench coat, jeans and a polo tee. He glanced around, looking for a man who looked just like him.

Spotting Keller in the back of the room, Stabler headed straight back to the booth, sitting down across from the other man.

	Keller saw the man well before he saw him, raising an eyebrow at the sight of a trench coat. What was that about? Well, he knew not to wear them, he guessed as he smirked at the man as he sat down, offering a hand. "Chris Keller." (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	"Elliot Stabler." He reached forward and took Keller's hand, shaking it firmly before letting go. Settling back into the booth, he glanced up as a waiter popped by. Ordering nachos and a whiskey sour, he turned back towards Keller, marveling over the fact the other man looked exactly like him. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	The stare didn't bother him. Stabler had long since stopped being bothered by the looks he got. He'd been in interrogation with enough monsters in his time that Keller's hard stare bothered him not. 	"D.C.," Chris replied, "Though I've been around," He had a fry and tilted his head a bit, "So, your a cop? Always been one or did you do military first?" Chris smirked a bit, enjoying how, being around a lot of hack's growing up, knowing them, fucking with them and fucking them period, he got to know habits, backgrounds and so on. "I was in the Marines. Fought in the Gulf War." He shrugged. "My father was a police officer though, so when I got out of service, I decided to be a cop as well. Became a detective in almost no time." Glancing up as his nachos and drink was brought, he thanked the water and grabbed one of the chips, getting the meat and other toppings on it before popping it into his mouth.

Chewing and swallowing, he sighed. "Plus, detective is a more supportive job for a family than the Marines ever was."

"Holy shit, five?" Chris took the wallet, flipping through-There was always something about kids he could see himself enjoying, made him think about being a dad. His own father had been shit, and Chris figured he'd probably be the same, what with his track record with women who depended on him, but he was changing other things in his life right now, why not that aspect? Maybe he was just thinking this because Holly might be around, and he knew if he couldn't pull of being Mr.Nice Guy with her if she showed up, Toby wouldn't be too hard pressed to pick Holly over him. Or maybe it was because 'if his doppleganger could be a dad, why couldn't he?' thoughts. Any way it worked out, Chris handed back the wallet with a grin.

"Beautiful. You must be proud. Wife?"

Taking his wallet back, he put it in his pockets and took another sip of his drink. "Very proud and...sort of. I guess not technically anymore here but back home. She and I have been sort of off and on. Kathy, she didn't like the fact I wouldn't open up about my job. I'm stuck at work catching rapists and murders...and she wants me to come home and talk about it? No. We've been in a lot of fights...separations." He sighed. "We were just getting on good terms again when this happened. Mostly because of little Elliot being born."

"Your son," Chris nodded a bit, popping another chip into his mouth, "You go to therapy or anything for that shit? What you saw, what you dealt with?" Chris tilted his head and sat back in his seat, raising his eyebrows. He had done the therapy circuit a few times thanks to his convictions. Not to mention his times with Sister Pete, "Cathartic and all that, I hear." Bull shit. But Chris could pretend with the best of them, and did he ever sound sincere when he said that.

	"No." Stabler scoffed. "I mean, a couple times I've gone but only when forced. Nothing serious. I don't put much credit in shrinks. All they do is take what you've said and mix it around it make it sound like you have something wrong with you." Finish off his whiskey sour, he felt warm and ready for something harder. Oh, Olivia was a whole different story. They'd been close, so many times. Of course there was that tension between them, after all they'd been through yet they'd never broken down and hopped into bed with each other. "Not her either." Though he did love her and didn't know how long he could keep that under wraps. "As I said, I'm faithful to my wife even in our scuffles."

	"Kathy. She was a stay at home mom. With 5 kids...well, it's sort of what needed to be done lest we go broke putting them in day care." He sighed and sipped more at his whiskey, enjoying the taste.
