It had been a normal day for everyone. People were going about their own business, some on the station, some on Midgard, some in Asgard... you get my drift. But they would not be separated for long. Reunions that were never meant started to happen.

Tears were starting to roll down her cheeks. She had willed them away but her strength had abandoned her. Nonetheless, she stood there tall and proud. The seiðmenn would not claim her without a fight. She had failed as a woman but she was a warrior through and through. She would fight with whatever strength she could muster even in her vaning condition.

"I do not mean you harm," the man spoke in broken Norse. She wondered if this was death. Brenna pulled at her seaweed shackles that the stranger had bound her with. They had bend to his will and all he had to do was to whisper a word. But they were too strong for her or she was to weak.

It had taken a lot of pauses in between her apartment and the lake to get there. She had never felt the overwhelming urge to puke since she had lived, but she found her head between her knees on more than one occasion. Loki was right, there had been leaps and bounds in Midguardian medicine.

Even with all the stops, Bryn still managed to make it there quicker than any mortal would have been able too. But she slowed as she neared the lake. There was no need to frighten her daughter. She could not deny that seeing her tied up by the god was amusing. "A god needs to tie a Viking that who's health is failing?" She teased Kai, just a little. "I will not tell Nandita." She spoke in the common language between them, before slipping in to Norse. Like an old shoe. "Brenna please stop fighting him." Now she only had to wait for her daughter's reaction. And she did with baited breath.

Brenna stared at the stranger. There was a familiarity about her but nothing she could place with certainty. They spoke a tongue unlike her own. Foreign sorcerers! How had the stranger known her name?

"I will not! I am Magnus' daughter and I will never stop fighting!" She glared defiantly at the pair.

Kai chuckled with amusement. Bryn did not seem too effected by the situation either. Death was only the next step for a mortal. It was natural. "I prefer easy solutions to my problems but if you prefer her slain, it will prove an easy task.
