It had been a normal day for everyone. People were going about their own business, some on the station, some on Midgard, some in Asgard... you get my drift. But they would not be separated for long. Reunions that were never meant started to happen.

Loki stood perfectly straight while he waited for his mother. His arms were folded behind his back while his gaze cast outside the window. He barely noticed the what lay beyond for his heart was heavy. They had not parted on good terms. His hurt had made it impossible to forgive. When he had heard the news, Frigga's youngest had wanted nothing more than to take it back. Now that he was faced with the chance apprehension kept him rooted to the spot. He could not believe the news of her arrival until he truly saw her.

Frigga still wore the gilded gown and chest peice she'd been wearing in her attempt to keep Jane safe. She smiled a little knowing, even in death, she had been triumphant. She entered the room Loki had claimed for their meeting. She was fresh, however. Offered by the woman, she had learned was Loki's friend, the chance to at least clean up. As if she'd made some great trip.

"Not painting imaginary worlds, are you?" She questioned quietly. It was good to see him out of the cage.

	That voice... Loki's heart paused for a moment and he turned back. Frigga... his mother... he wanted to rush toward her, embrace her. But his mother's words showed him how she saw him. Her disappointment in what he had become was clear. "Mother..." he whispered. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	He didn't so she did. In a few long strides and she was pulling him to her. Not disappointment, her own pain she was unable to hide from those all seeing eyes. But she held on, he felt whole. Solid. 	She hadn't really wanted to let go. But she didn't hold on when he stepped back. "Everything that happened after... After Kurse. The good and the bad." Some of it was to much, and she took a breath. Loki would have smiled. He was not the only one filled with pride. If he had not any other achievements to offer, he at least given his mother a beautiful and clever granddaughter. But Loki did not smile. That everything contained too much pain.

"So you know..." he did not answer. He let a shimmer of his undead self wander over him. It started at his right arm and moved over his whole body, exposing the flesh and bones beneath for a second.

	And she didn't miss that shimmer. She watched as it exposed even the bone beneath. There was no hiding the flash of sadness that washed over her. Her baby. Her son. Knew Death. "I know. Loki remained rigid. "I would not have wanted you to see it," he said and turned towards the seating area. He piinted toward it, offering a seat. A hand strayed to his neck and touched it lightly at the memory. The pain sometimes came back. Especially in the mornings. He hated waking up dead. He wished it would just go away, become nothing more than a faint memory.

	But it was important to him. He was raised a prince, a fighter, a diplomat and a sorcerer. If he would not find glory defending his kingdom, where would he? 	While worry still shaded her eyes, she couldn't help but beam at him. "Really? Your Missus?" Frigga looked back at the door, she didn't know what to quite call Shannon. Missus seemed well enough.
