What to do?

Ridiculous! He hadn't wanted this. He'd let Harry back in, let his defences down, allowed the kiss…

He'd been mocked too many times... never again! He'd sworn to keep Harry away.

But Harry only had to smile, come close, touch him so lightly and Severus' determination crumbled like an ineffective ward. He shuddered, racked with emotions he didn't want. Severus knew emotions led to weakness, which led to pain.

So why couldn't he stop? The brat would be back. He hadn't pressed this time, but he would. He'd seen Snape's weakness; he'd be back for the kill.
