In the kitchen that was more of a Potions lab, Snape got a glass from a cupboard and filled it with water.

Harry sipped, making it last.

Snape fidgeted. He didn't seem to know what to do with his hands. Harry hadn't seen him this uncertain before.

"Are you all right, Severus?"

"Why shouldn't I be?"

Harry handed the glass back, letting his fingers gently caress Snape's. The older man didn't seem able to pull away. He looked like he'd been hit by a Stunner.

Harry smiled and lifted his lips to Severus'. He'd been right… it was warm today.
