Summary: Since the incident at the Shack, Remus hasn't seen Sirius at all aside from a few brief sightings across a crowded room. On the way home, Remus spies a man who looks like Sirius. Drudging up old memories, Remus returns home. Until a late-night visit causes him to re-evaluate his relationship with Sirius.
Author's Note: In the timeline of things, it takes place during the winter of OotP. But, this was written prior to OotP coming out, so there was no advance guard and no Number 12 Grimmauld Place.

Author's Note: Another one shot, but this one's a tad different. I used a letter from one of my favourite moves: Immortal Beloved with Gary Oldman. The letter actually was written by Ludwig van Beethoven to his lady love. There's much controversy over who the woman really is. But, I loved the letter and it lent itself to a wonderful fic.
