Author's Note: Another one shot, but this one's a tad different. I used a letter from one of my favourite moves: Immortal Beloved with Gary Oldman. The letter actually was written by Ludwig van Beethoven to his lady love. There's much controversy over who the woman really is. But, I loved the letter and it lent itself to a wonderful fic. Please note... if you have read 'By My Side' this is not the sequel to it. That will be coming out soon... This fic is Harry leaving to fight Voldemort... only he's on his own. A completely different story than 'By My Side'.

I had hoped to get this posted a LOT sooner than I did, but between LMoMM and my summer… this is as soon as I could.
