So, a bunch of us were talking and thought it would have been cool if for the anniversary Dave Gibbons had redrawn on of the issues ,but with the original Charlton heroes instead of the replacements. We thought Issue 5 would have worked best. What do you think ?

Normally I hate the way some writters pick up their ball and leave never letting other people write a character they invented...
But almost anyone other that Steve Ditko and the results with the Creeper are just god awful...

This is really kinda twisted if you think about it. From 1903, another bizarre exploit for Richard F Outcault's BUSTER BROWN.

Harrowing Horror and Blood-Curdling Cuteness (Fuan no Tane)
Below the cut you will find, as requested, the story of the Self-Cutting Emo Ghost Girl. Don't let my cutesy alterna-title fool you, it's actually one of the more disturbing stories in the manga series thus far (and it's definitely the goriest). Then, as a palate cleanser, there will be a couple of extremely non-scary ghost stories, including one of my personal favorites: the saga of Michiko Kozue.
Again, the first story is NSFW due to gore.

Hello. I'm a long time follower of scans_daily and I followed it to here.
Here are some old Phantom strips that I nabbed right before it became silly and they changed either the artist or letterer, I'm unclear which. My apolgies to the artist ahead of time.

Also - I would recommend today's Sluggy strip. It's a good contrast of white/black/red that was done in other movies and it works very well in comics.
