Spider-Man #15: "The Mutant Factor"
I found myself thinking of this old comic (oh, good god, this was eighteen years ago) for no good reason earlier today, and went ahead and dug it up.
As far as I know this is one of the first comics to be both written and drawn by Erik Larsen. "The Mutant Factor" appeared in the adjectiveless Spider-Man book, which at the time was a showcase for Todd McFarlane. Larsen's story was a fill-in between arcs for McFarlane; he'd go on to do a six-issue Sinister Six story that features guest appearances from pretty much every character Larsen's ever liked.
The set-up's pretty simple. Peter and Mary Jane are talking about whether or not they should have kids, but Peter's a bit concerned about the potential risks. After all, Sue Richards nearly died every time she's gotten pregnant. With that in mind, Peter goes to ask Hank McCoy for more information.

AVENGERS FINALE: I hate Wanda
While recapping the woeful events of AVENGERS #200 and AVENGERS ANNUAL #10, I brought up Ms. Marvel saying she hated Wanda Maximoff in AVENGERS FINALE. And here we are, with words by Brian Michael Bendis and art by Steve Epting. First off, Tony Stark gives a rather half-arsed explanation as to why he can't fund the Avengers anymore and why he's leaving the Mansion a burned-out pit.

Avengers Annual #10 - Today, on a Very Special Jerry Springer....
... Carol Danvers lays the smack down on the Avengers for their handling of the events of Avengers #200, so very recently posted here.
Posting 6 pages of a 38-page annual, not my scans and nothing done to them but resizing, by very popular demand.
Remember, Carol at this point has reconstructed her life history, but it's ghostly to her, no real emotions attached. Can you imagine how this'd've played if she were fully herself?

Ultimatum X-Men Requiem...
Ultimatum was horrible, the deaths were needless, bla bla bla. That said, this two page spread from Ultimatum X-Men Requiem is both gorgeous and infuriating.

Ms. Marvel. Misunderstandings and Love
The scans featured come from a few issues of Ms.Marvel I own... you know back when nobody knew who in the heck Ms.Marvel was leading to all kinds of Superhero confusion... and fights.

"How Not to Cheer Someone Up," by the X-Men
With Kitty fused in a Giant Space Bullet and out in space somewhere, a lot of people miss her (like me). But nevertheless one person seems to miss her the most, and that is Piotr Rasputin. He just lives his life by rote, exercising, teaching. "lifting heavy things," but not smiling and not painting. So his friends Logan and Kurt decide to cheer him up, and get the rest of the X-Men to help out.
From X-Men Manifest Destiny #3, 2 1/2 pages of an 8 page story. Written by Christ Yost with pencils by Humberto Ramos.

The Fucked-Up Love Life of Scott Summers: Jean Grey
So last time, Scott feel in love with a woman because she looked like Jean Grey, his dead girlfriend. I know, I know, but they kinda pulled it off. Then someone had the bright idea of reuniting the original X-Men into a new team called X-Factor. Of course, Jean was at present dead, so some hasty retconning revealed that it had actually been a clone of her, bringing Jean back to life at the small cost of invalidating a classic X-Men story.
And, of course, Scott was with Madeline. Married. With a baby son. Not the kind of a thing you can just sweep under the rug, but damn if they didn't give it the ol' college try.
