Tagging Guide
Tagging your posts is exactly like setting custom filters, and it's very useful. People searching for specific information rely heavily on them, they make older entries easier to navigate, they help the mods keep track of things, and they're great for making finding what you need go as quickly as possible.

All of our current tags are tagged in this entry, but we'll break them up for you so that it's easier to read through, so you'll know which tags to use!MOD-ONLY:

We won't list these here since they're user-specific and change from time to time, but if you post layouts or codes you will get a maker: username tag added to your post. Why? So that people who like your codes can find them all easily, and so that you can go back and find your code posts without digging should you ever need to edit them or remove them! Once you've posted your first coding/layout entry we will add the tag for you and it will be ready to go the next time you need it.REQUESTS:

In the event that our specific tags don't fit your post's content, each tag has a subject: other tag. Go ahead and use that if we don't have your tag and we'll re-tag it with a brand spankin' new tag for you if it's something we think will wind up showing up more than once on the community. If you have tag suggestions feel free to comment in the thread below! Also, don't worry if you hit post only to realize you've accidentally misspelled a tag—you didn't accidentally create a new one. IJ will ignore the tag completely; just make sure you go back and add the tag you meant to put in.
